After spending hundreds of dollars on sub par nails. I finally found this place because of Unilocal and I couldn’t be happier! Kamille was amazing! She was super quick and efficient and I got exactly what I wanted! I won’t be going anywhere else and the atmosphere is amazing. Kamille is amazingly friendly and down to earth! Can’t wait to go back for my fill!

This is hands down the BEST nail salon! Tawana and Kamille are absolutely amazing! I drive all the way from Summerlin to get my nails done by these two lovely ladies. I have been getting my nails done for over 10 years and always hopped around from salon to salon because I could never find anyone to do them just right. I finally feel at home and at ease getting my nails done because I know they will take care of me, even if I’m not quite sure what I want I am always thrilled with the way my nails turn out!

Just got my nails did! well earlier today ;) .Tawana is amazing! I am a former acrylic wearer and i was tired of the yellowing and always having to get a «new» set. I did a little research on gel nails and LCN nails popped up along with The Nail Shoppe which is now Show Us Your Tips. I contacted Tawana and sceduled an appointment with ease. I must say during the initial process of applying the gel i was hesitant to how my nails would look. Then Tawana said «ok now its time to make pretty nails» and that is exactly what she did! ! I had to work after and all I could do was look at my nails! I also got a few compliments. I was so amazed at how durable but natural and beautiful my nails look. Tawana had definitely gained a new customer!!!

Almost 5 yrs ago I was preggo with my daughter and in desperate need of my nails and toes done. As a former acrylic and nail polish chick, I knew I needed something without the harsh chemicals fuming into my nostrils. Google directed me to Tawana and I’ve never looked back.
When someone hears that I get gel nails done they all assume it’s acrylic nails with a gel polish and nail art. Tawana uses by far the best product. As a business owner and single mother I don’t have the time or the patience to wait for polish to dry or having the need to be super dainty so as to not jack up my nails.
Ladies do not be jarred by the price tag as Tawana’s LCN gel product is worth every dollar. While I have a standing biweekly appointment, this last visit happened after having to pack up and move my house and my office as well as a family vacation to Sea World, San Diego Safari Park, Lego land, Disneyland, Ikea furniture shopping, followed by all the fun usage of my power tools, it had been almost 4 – 5 weeks since I had gotten my nails done. I started to look all sorts of jacked with my nails so grown out, but I will take grown out nails over chipped, broken, lifted acrylics any day.
My active lifestyle is a testament to the durability of the LCN product as well as Tawana’s artistry.

Being a personal assistant is fun, and going with my boss to get her nails done is one of my favorite things to do while on the clock.
My boss has been going to Tawana for 5+ years! The reason for my boss’ initial visit was to check out the odorless LCN gel that is offered at Tawana’s.
Not only is this gel odorless, it’s tuff! After moving a 5 bedroom house, an admin office for our company, having a Disney Land, Lego Land, Sea World adventure, and mounting 6 TV’s in the past 6 weeks, MY BOSS STILL HAD ALL NAILS! She is a handy woman who has never had a broken nail thanks to Tawana’s choice of product.
If I wasn’t a man I would be having Tawana do my nails. I refer all my girl friends to her because I know that when they arrive they will receive the great personality and quality service that most they are looking for.

I have been going to Tawana since 2009. My business partner has been going to Tawana since 2012. She is a Diamond in the rough in the Las Vegas nail market — where most people just want to get you in and out as fast as they can. She actually listens to you and customizes your nails to exactly your specifications and style. If you are unsure of what you want she has a lot of ideas and keeps the portfolio to provide plenty of ideas. I can’t tell you how many times I have received compliments on my nails and almost everyone asks for her card. Selfishly I worry she will get so busy that she won’t have time to fit me in around my hectic schedule. However Tawana is always willing to accommodate my schedule and I couldn’t be more thankful. Truly the best nails and service in Henderson/​Las Vegas.

I have been a client of Tawana’s for several years. What drew me to her was the incredible nail designs she creates, as well as the innovative product she uses, LCN. LCN is nothing like the acrylic product that other nail salons use. What I love about the LCN process is that each time I visit, Tawana removes all of the old product, essentially applying new nails each time. None of that filling in the growth since your last appointment, like traditional nail salons do. I also have never had an issue with my nails lifting, ever, and I only get my nails done every 3 weeks. My nails still look great when it’s time for my next appointment! Another perk of the LCN process is that when you leave, your nails are completely dry, no chance of messing them up! This is due to the curing process that LCN uses. I can’t even begin to describe how talented and creative Tawana is. I never have any ideas of how I want my nails to look when I go in for my appointment. I trust Tawana so much that I just let her have creative freedom and I always leave happy! However, if you do have an idea of what you want, she will gladly create any nail design that your heart desires. The Nail Shoppe is decorated adorably… It’s so welcoming and fun! Another thing I appreciate about The Nail Shoppe is that Tawana will book standing appointments for you if you wish. That way, you never have to worry about not getting in when you need to. This is especially helpful since she is the only nail technician in the salon. Tawana is friendly, fun, and engages in conversation with you, unlike most traditional nail salons. I have been a client of The Nail Shoppe for almost 4 years. The Nail Shoppe was recommended to me by LCN. This is by far the best product ever used on me! My nails are always gorgeous, people stop and ask me where did I get my nails! Between my home and The Nail Shoppe are at least 50 nail salons. They can’t compare in any way to the Nail Shoppe! Best of the best is well deserved!

I have been going to Tawana since the first time I saw her work, 3 yrs ago. I always get compliments on my nails and love that she always does her artistic magic when I give her just the colors I want. The atmosphere is that of visiting your girlfriends house and the laughter keeps going when the next guest comes in. I always dreaded getting my nails done before and was in pain 2 days following… now I can’t wait for my next appt… She’s my therapist too :)…love The Nail Shoppe!!!

The Nail Shoppe is the BEST of the BEST. The nails are beautiful! Great prices. The company I had while getting my nail service was also wonderful. Tawana was one of the first women I got to know when I moved to Las Vegas. And she is now a life long friend. All because of her talent and friendly demeanor when I had my LCN services. I looked forward to my fills every two weeks. Recently, I moved back to Wisconsin and words can’t describe how much I miss my every other week «dates,» with Tawana. I can’t wait to visit in Fall and have my nails done at the Nail Shoppe again.

No shop really compares to the entire experience I have had here. As a manicurist myself, I am VERY particular about santitation, shape, product, color choices, conversation etc. I admire Tawana as a person & nail tech. Her salon is literally TOO CUTE for words. She’s the most personable, she works so fast and gives THE BEST nail service I have ever had. 10 stars for this shop!!!

Hands down the best manicurist in the country. Tawana did my nails for years and I loved them every time. She is very professional, very talented, and very, very fun! Her nail art is the best. Ever. This place is cute retro stlye. You feel right at home. Tawana is very talented in her art/​designs she does and the price is not bad either!

I had been getting gel manicures all around Vegas trying to find a) someone who could give me the fun Pinterest style nail designs and b) a manicure that would last more than a day or two without chipping. Well best of both worlds here! Tawana is so talented and uses the best product I have ever had applied to my nails. The LCN gel DOES NOT CHIP! I go every 3 weeks and I have never had a mani chip, flake or discolor. On top of that she is so creative and really cares about making her clients happy! I am always so thrilled when leaving her salon!

I have had the pleasure of being a client of this awesome nail stylist extrodinare since about 2011. I used to work in a dentle office and a patient walked in with THE most AMAZING nails we had ever seen. We gushed over them, they were shaped perfectly, the color was so rich, and the glitter was everything! Her nails looked as if they were sculpted from glass, so ultra shiny, and the glitter just danced in the light. So finally we asked where did you get your nails done.
So she gave me Tawana’s information and I went to her website and checked out her work. I was stunned and in awe of her body of work, I had never seen nails of this calibur before.
I have a pretty extensive background in dentistry so I was familiar with the type of product that she uses. It a bonding process that is excellerated/​cured by UV light. This is a fantastic alternative to acrylics, they are made of a gel-​like, light cured resin. They are safer, more natural in appearance, and more durable than acrylic nail products, and they are non-​porous, so they protect the natural nail and do not discolor over time. I personally love the fact that the product is odorless and so durable, as I am so hard on my nails.
Tawana is very personable, kind, very friendly and extremely professional. She works hard to make you happy, and can create some of the most amazing designs and looks, if you can dream it, ask her to try it out for you!
Her shoppe is in a safe, clean, and professional environment, inside of Studio Salons. Her studio is decorated to the nines with Pinups, malt shop, and 1950’s retro styling. It’s a very fun and upbeat environment, and a great place to unwind. You wont find another person with her skill level and ability in Las Vegas, you can try but Tawana is it! Other salons are cookie cutter, and claim they do gel nails, well LCN is the way to go, and I speak honestly and from experience, you’ve only been to the best if you have seen Tawana!
