Upon moving in to one of their properties the horrors began. We had our water turned on an it leaked HEAVILY under the house for 2 days before being turned off and fixed. This eventually led to a enormous water bill that they refused to help pay for and eventually led to our water being turned off and living in that hell hole without water for 3 weeks before we moved out. Then simple electrical issues and the windows were all missing locks (not a good neighborhood)…they managed to fix that (sort of). They never cleaned the carpets from the last tennant we had to clean them ourselves and they were GROSS. The toilet tank leaked – they replaced it with a used old one that wasn’t the right size so the toilet never set right again. The workers left nasty, poop covered stuff in OUR TUB. The kitchen and living room floors were in bad shape. The air conditioner unit was in complete disarray. Wires were worn and chewed my some animal and it leaked freon every time you turned it on. It eventually stopped working. They NEVER fixed it – and this is JUNE in NORTH CAROLINA! Then a sewage leak began under the house. We advised them that this was completely unacceptable and a health hazard. Still it when UNCHECKED AND UNFIXED. Every time we flushed the toilet it leaked. This caused a HUGE wet spot under the house, tons of flies and it was a breeding ground for mosquitos! We attempted to get them to fix the major issues but they were never fixed. We did not pay that months rent because we started moving before that and they took us to eviction court where I told the judge about the horrid conditions of the property and he gave us 10 days to get out – we were out in 3… HORRIBLE LANDLORDS who do the bare minimum. I would call them the Henderson slum lords!!! Renters beware!
