I’ve had nothing but great experiences with dining out. My to go order is always ready and hot when I devour it later on. The food is excellent, a little expensive, but worth it.

Best Mexican restaurant in the area. Their enchilada sauce/mole is addicting. Great salsa too. Authentic and delicious. The people who don’t like it should go to Taco John’s. Tex Mex would be more their speed.

Horrible. I killed three bugs and didn’t eat my dinner obviously. They comped it but it was dirty and no customers. Sanitation Survey results posted on front door, now known to combat the REALITY that it’s dirty. Don’t go.

We drove from Evansville(at the suggestion of some friends from Henderson) to try Los Toribio, and were very disappointed. The building itself is nice, and we chose a seat on the patio since it was a nice day. When our bill arrived, we had been charged for several things we had not ordered-we are both vegetarians and one of the items added to our bill was a meat entrée, which we clearly didn’t eat/order. When we brought this to the attention of the server, he argued that he had indeed seen us eat those items, and wouldn’t take them off the bill. We went inside to find a manager, who was very helpful, and removed the items from the bill. As we were waiting at the register to pay, our server walks up to the cashier and tells her not to remove the extra items, and she adds them back to our bill?! At this point we didn’t want to argue anymore over the 10 or so dollars added to the bill, but we will definitely not go back to either Los Toribio location! I can’t even remember what the food tasted like because I was so mad!

Cancun down the street was so slammed with customers that we came here to eat dinner. The atmosphere is very festive and updated with hand carved wood decorations in bright colors. You receive complimentary chips and salsa with your meal. However, the salsa tastes just like tomatoes from a can. Not even any fresh cilantro or lime to try to break up the canned tomato flavor. The food is fairly bland, so they try to make up for it by making the food overly salty. It is not cheap either, we paid $ 32 for two people to dine here with just entrees, soda, and a cheese dip. I think that we will brave the crowds at Cancun next time to see what the deal is. It might be worth it.
