Kumon Math and Reading Center of Henderson – Anthem Hills Park

I had to send my child to tutoring because the Clark County School District has done a less than stellar job ensuring my child can read and do math at grade level. We had already attended the Tutor Club and was looking for a different experience. I did not want a place that would merely hand my child worksheets to do. When we went for the assessment it was about 15 – 20 minutes long and consisted of a half of sheet page with some math problems. Then after the assessment we were told that for a little over 100 a month, my child could come in everyday and sit and get some worksheets to do. Then she would have homework to take home to do and the parents have to assist the child at home. This was just unacceptable. Why would I want to pay someone to print off worksheets and have me teach my child at home? I already teach my child at home. I need someone to help me teach my child what the school district has failed to do. I would and did avoid this place. It might be okay for some, but I needed an actual tutor for my child.
