Gianna Christine Salon + Spa

I have tried this Salon 3 times and each time the Aveda bleach has left my hair looking like a brillow pad. I also had my hair cut 2xs by 2 different girls. First stylists cut my hair so uneven I had to go back to have it fixed. Needless to say, it was not fixable. Second time, I tried a different stylist and got same results. Fried hair and I told her ½ inch and she cut 3 inches. I think the staff is really friendly and so are the owners but defiantly will not use Aveda Color or bleach ever again. Love Aveda facial cream and lotions but not the color. The place is in a good location but stylist are below average. If they where good they would be on there own, not working for someone who get over 60%of there work.

I’ve been there twice now for color and hair cuts, several more time for product purchase. Usually, the front desk staff is very friendly. The space is beautiful. I can’t say I’ve been happy with the color either time, neither stylist really listened to me. (I initially wrote a 5-​star review but the color quickly faded into this weird red and was not so great).
And this last time, although I think the stylist is talented, I got a really jacked up hair cut. A huge chunk is significantly shorter on one side of my head. The dimension is not at all what I want, it’s too dark and mousy.
I think I’m going to have to search for somewhere else, which is sad, because I really wanted to like this place.

Seriously late updating this. All & all, they made it right & were very accommodating to correct the issue asap with no inconvenience whatsoever.
Stephen is absolutely fabulous & I was in over the weekend for another color session. I had booked a cut & color & requested they alot more than enough time to accomplish both requests. Knowing how my hair is & that I told the girl at the front desk I wanted my entire head done but not exactly sure how it would be done: lifted, toned, olaplexed, & cut… I was disappointed to learn no cut for me… even though I booked it along with the color. When I checked out I was asked when I wanted to reschedule the cut for. I asked how much would it be since they/​she didn’t schedule me correctly to begin with? Full price, instead of it being discounted with the color service. I reminded them I booked a color & cut together, why am I penalized for running out of time and having to come back & pay full price for something because they didn’t schedule me correctly as I asked them to weeks before? No response. I declined to reschedule my cut for now, even though it desperately needs it.
Stephen did a fab job with my color & I absolutely love it. It’s darker than I expected, but it works. Really well. I trust him with my hair. He gave me everything I wanted… but didn’t know I wanted until I saw the results.
My rating is based upon my experience with him & a fab job more than well done. He’s the guy I would say, just do something to it, not worry about the results and love it later.

Regular customer for the last year. I get what is really a «trim» every 2.5 weeks. Appointment is typically 15 minutes or less. For the first time in a year, missed an appointment. Was offered to re-​schedule but was told that I’d be charged for the full appointment as a «no-​show» fee. So much for customer loyalty. Too bad they’re so willing to walk away from a loyal, regular client over $ 30.

My home away from home! Kyle rocks and entire staff treats each other like family. Always refer clients to Giana Christine they simply make you feel fabulous!

Overpriced for a cut and blow dry, and a disorganized salon at best. The Aveda brand deserves a better representation of service and product than what is delivered at this salon. $ 65 for a haircut and blow dry/​style is about 20 over market for Henderson, NV.

I saw Ashley for the first time today and I am really happy. She listened to my concerns, asked a lot of questions, and did an awesome job. I have been struggling to find a new hair home since moving to Henderson but not anymore!!! Ashley got my color right, updated my haircut, and made me feel really comfortable with her knowledge of color and their products. Nice salon, not too crazy busy, nice people, and on time.

This is an awesome place! Nice ambience and great Aveda products. My Hairstylist Steven, younger one is great and awesome ! He takes time to do my pixie haircut! But after having a haircut by him, I feel great! Thanks Steven.

I now see Ashley and she is the bomb! I can bring in a picture and she will duplicate the look exactly! She is truly talented and I highly recommend her!

Used this salon for my wedding. I got makeup and an updo, while my family got washes and styles. They were very friendly, accommodating, professional, and did a wonderful job. My makeup was exactly what I wanted, and they completely nailed the hairstyle I wanted. Everyone was complimenting my hair at the wedding, and my groom said he even got teary eyed when he saw me for the first time. I even smelled wonderful thanks to the awesome Aveda products! Would recommend them to anyone.

I’ve been coming to this salon for years (4 plus) and I absolutely adore everything about it! Simone is my stylist and she’s never let me down! I love her creative, vibrant and down to earth personality. Everything from the moment you walk inside feels luxurious, soothing and approachable. I also love the girls upfront. Jessie and Elena are so kind and attentive. Going here makes my day and it’ll make yours too!

If you need a haircut, blowout, color or style, Shanelle is the one to see! She is absolutely amazing. Her fun and bubbly personality always makes for a fun appointment to see her. She has completely transformed and revived my once dry and dead hair. Incredible. My appointments have never been cancelled or moved and she’s always on time.
Recently they have opened a new remodeled side of the salon. It’s clean, modern with many amenities. I’m always offered a variety of beverages from the fabulous Elena at the front desk. Elena is definitely another asset to the salon. If you’re waiting for color to set, they have a nice sitting area with mags, huge tv or refreshments.
In the past 3 years going here, it has never let me down.

I absolutely love going to this salon, unfortunately I moved to the other side of town so I don’t go as often. Everyone is so nice and helpful and I love the inside of it!
I have a pixie cut and am very picky about how it is cut. I have gone to many different places in Vegas and couldn’t find someone who really knew what to do with my hair. I was just about to give up when I called Gianna Christine. I made an appointment and was a little skeptical.
Ashley listens to all of my needs with my hair and does exactly what I have envisioned in my head. After the first appointment with her I knew I would be back! Every time I go to her she knows exactly what to do, even when I say I want to do something different (which is almost every time I go) She is the only one I trust with my hair! She is so fun to talk to also, so she makes the appointment very enjoyable.
I would recommend Gianna Christine to everyone (especially Ashley)!

The new location is nice there is only one room for massages and facials so it makes appointments a bit limited for those two services.
Jessica and Alena at the front deal are very accommodating and I particularly liked how they have two people taking care of daily tasks because it is gets very frustrating when someone puts you on hold while they are tending to phone calls.
As for waxing Lindsey is freakishly amazing. When she waxes you she does breathing techniques so it doesn’t hurt and much and she’s super sweet! Best water I’ve ever been to!
As for hair I’ve only done blowouts so no reviews for haircuts from me.
I wish they would put a nail salon in here to make the atmosphere complete!

I have been a fan of Aveda for years but after this experience I may be looking for another salon. I arrived for my 6 o’clock appointment about 10 minutes early and was told the stylist was running a couple minutes behind. I didn’t think twice about it and took a seat. At around the 5 minute mark I was again told it would only be a couple minutes, then 5 minutes turned to 10, then 15, then 20 minutes! At the 20 minute mark I told the receptionist I was going to leave. She took my cup of water chuckled and said «oh ok». What terrible customer service to let a client leave like without offering an apology or maybe having another stylist wash my hair while the other stylist finished up with their client, or perhaps offering a discount for the 20 minute wait. So disappointing…

Always a great experience. The staff and owners care about the customer and the service they provide is top notch. The new design and décor look great!

I had a really bad experience when I moved here and tried Salon Dushons. I was ready to drive to CA to get my hair done every 8 weeks! But, I gave Gianna Christine a try, and, I haven’t looked back since!
I only go to Aveda salons, and, this is the best one yet!

Pure Sophistication!!! The salon is second to none remodeling/​move (they relo next door from their previous location) the attention to detail, the colours amazing, a lot of thought has gone into the décor it’s wonderful

I’ve got a new hair salon (once again). This time though, it’s for good. I’m so pleased with the way that Shanelle cuts and dyes my hair that I won’t be finding someone new in my recent move to LA.
The salon is warm and welcoming from the time you make an appointment. Of course, I get the signature Aveda tea upon entering and continue to guzzle it each time someone passes by to refill my cup.
Shanelle really listens and makes sure you are on the same page with your vision and her execution. She has a killer memory too, which I always appreciate. It makes you want to go back when your hairstylist cares enough about your life to remember details.
Prices… Well, they ain’t cheap. Expect to pay well over $ 100 for a cut and color, but you know it’s going to be good quality.
