7-Eleven

There was a ²⁄₂ chip special on all Fritos, Cheetos and Doritos chips.
I grabbed two from under the advertisement– a bag of bones Cheetos and cool ranch Doritos.
I didn’t notice the $ 1 being taken off at ring up and asked the cashier Michael if it was taken off he said yes.
As I walked out the door I review my receipt and did not notice the amount being reduced.
I walked back in, waited in line and asked if he could show me where the discount was applied.
He said right on the receipt where it has minus.
I told him the only minuses were for a chip taken off the transaction and the Minute Maid promotion. He then snatched the receipt and smacked his lips. After reviewing the receipt, he said well he guess the bag of bones aren’t covered and shrugged his shoulders.
I explained to him that it was under the promotion that says any– even has a range of sizes.
He runs over to promotion and grabs other chips in an attempt to show me (which really was irrelevant at this point).
I asked for the $ 1 difference. He opened the register and gave me a dollar, slammed the register back and walked away with an attitude.
Who really cares about the dollar at this point? Of course, I shouldn’t have been overcharged but the disrespect over it was uncalled for.
I will be stalked the manager to let them know about this.
This is the 7 – 11 in my neighborhood so I will be back– as I frequent here often but they better get someone else that can work with people before someone gets hurt.

This 7-​eleven is sketchy. I am always AMAZED at the unsavory characters that manage to gain employment here. The guy I encountered tonight (whom I have never seen before tonight) looked homeless. All the way home, we joked about how he must have shot the REAL 7-​eleven employee in the head and then stole his identity. It was that bad… he was dirty, smelly, and wasn’t wearing anything to identify himself as a worker. When we first saw him through the window we almost didn’t go in because we thought he was pandering for money or drugs.
That’s just how this place is. I am always just AMAZED. What is it about gas stations that make them so darn skeevy after 9 p.m.
