The stop and shop is huge, but not enough cashiers had to stay 10 minutes in line to pay for case of beer.

I’m not sure if it’s the location or the customers(probably the later) but this supermarket is questionable. Browsing the aisles, I’ve noticed that one area was closed off because someone or something decided to poop on the floor(which was stepped on and smeared). Not sure if the poop was left by an animal or… worse… a human, I decided to walk out while holding my breath in disgust. Too bad I wasn’t able to give a positive review and it’s not the fault of the supermarket. Perhaps next time I’ll actually buy something.

This was so bad that I had to let people know about it right away. You will note a picture of kale attached to this store from me. At 10:00 am in the Stop and Shop in Hempstead, NY, this was the kale they had on display to sell. For Kale to appear this wilted takes at least a week of bad conditions. This kale will get to your house and be unusable within 2 days. Yet Stop and Shop felt no remorse in making this available for people to eat. I have watched the vegetables get worse and worse in the past couple of years at this store. It is my theory that that they are providing this produce to this store after all the other stores reject it. What do you think? I know this much, if you are concerned about the health of your family, avoid the produce here until things get considerably better.

Located @ 150 Fulton & its name really separated with spaces, this«Super» S & S is conveniently located in a commercially suburban expanse. Unfortunately, the friendly manager employs rude and incompetent staff, and the place attracts bafflingly unruly patrons. Self-checkout was a disaster. It’s safe to say I’ll stick to the S & S farther down 24.
