The Spot was a great little dive bar in Hempstead, TX. They only serve beer though, no liquor. It would be even more awesome if they had a selection of liquor! We were well taken care of by the sweet bartender (I didn’t catch her name). She was very welcoming and our group enjoyed hanging out and her engaging conversation. You can pay to play all your favorite songs on the juke box (great selection). Plenty of room for showcasing your dance moves, or playing a game of pool (free). We had a great time at this local spot! If you are in Hempstead, go visit The Spot! Cold AC and cold beer.

Out on a bike ride from Katy through College Station to Chappell Hill, heading back to Katy when we found this hole in the wall. Bartender was super nice. AC was blasting, beers were cheap and cold and the ladies restrooms are clean! Can’t beat it. We will be back! Bartender said that they do pool and dart tournaments, so be sure to ask about them.
