The staff here are helpful. Just like any other furniture store, they will try to «sell» to you. Don’t fall for everything they say. Try knowing your stuff before coming here. The first floor has all the new items which are really pricey. I feel that you could find better elsewhere. I was really impressed with the clearance section on the lower level. They might not mention it to you until you see it yourself. Once you walk in the store, go to your far right and walk to the back, you’ll see a big clearance sign. I didn’t find a couch that I wanted, but the pieces are really nice. I would recommend

As you can see the store is stating my 56lb child is over their«weight requirement» for a bed(which is crazy). Also, referring to me buying a cheap model bed, which was not the cheapest. Thank God! Now, they want me to pay for another bunk bed? No thank you. I’m really disgusted & hate that I have to buy another bunk bed from elsewhere especially because I paid good money & expected good furniture.

Purchasing furniture can be almost as stressful as purchasing a car, but Danny with Nassau Furniture made my experience a pleasant one. I went to Nassau Furniture during the week looking for a specific bed within a specific price range. Prior to coming to the store, I had visited the website and saw several options within my parameters, so I assumed that when I went to the store, someone would be able to help me. Wrong! I was greeted by a woman who showed me numerous beds that were not the style I was looking for and completely outside of my price range. When I reminded her of my price range, she informed me that I wouldn’t find anything that«cheap» in the store and didn’t offer to explore any other options that were available either on their website or in their catalog. When I informed her that I had seen several options within my price range on their website, her attitude completely changed, and all of a sudden she was willing to help me. I’m not sure why if she works at the store, I am doing her job for her by exploring other options not in the store. Needless to say, I did not desire to give her any commission with my purchase, so left. My friend suggested that I come back and talk to Danny. After visiting another local furniture store, I decided to go back to Nassau Furniture and talk to Danny — and boy, was I glad I did. Although he was working with two other families, he immediately acknowledged my presence and assured me that he would make my second experience great. I gave him my price range and told him what I was looking for. Although he didn’t have anything in the store that would match my interests, he showed me the catalog of options. I informed him that I was shown the exact same bed at the previous store for a lower price than what he had offered me. Danny ended up negotiating me down to a price including the bed, delivery and set-up I could live with and be happy. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Danny informed me that it would take 7 – 10 business days to make the bed(excluding the delivery time). I ordered my bed on a Sunday, and it was delivered and set up 9 business days later. The next time I am in need of any furniture, I will go see Danny!

BUYERBEWARE — we had a horrible experience with Nassau Furniture. They delivered a broken a chair and actually refused to replace it(wouldn’t give us our money back, not sure that is even legal). After 13 months of dealing with them, they sent a repairman to apply a band-aid(actual problem never fixed). They wouldn’t return phone calls and stood us up on multiple appointments. Finally, these Unilocal reviews have been tampered with. A few months back there were multiple negative reviews that are now gone.

I wanted to update my review. Since my last encounter with Nassau Furniture they’ve actually been really helpful in expediting all the issues I’ve had with the bed I purchased. I love the bed, it’s a storage bed, but one of the side drawers fell and totally snapped in half. I called the company, explained what happened, and they replaced the piece within a few weeks of me calling. Appreciate the quick follow-ups to the issue. Bed is fixed and looks awesome again.

Had a wonderful experience at Nassau furniture & mattress. Allen and Danny were very helpful. I came there knowing exactly what I wanted and they worked out a reasonable price which included delivery and set up. I ordered my ashley signature sofa, chaise and accent chair on Monday 7⁄1 and was surprised when Al called me on Wednesday 7⁄3 to say it could be delivered July 4th. I was called an hour before delivery guys arrived to confirm that someone was home. Guys delivered, set up and cleaned up before they left. I highly recommend this place.

I recently moved back to NY from Miami. I had to purchase furniture without seeing it and I must say the staff was extremely detailed on explaining the furniture to me and helping me with the sizes based on my floor plans. I arrived to NY and the furniture arrived the following day. Their team installed everything and cleaned up everything once they were done unlike any other furniture company I have ever dealt with. I was completely satisfied from start to finish and will definitely be using them again and reffering them to friends and family. Thanks Guys!

I would stay away from this business!!! As soon as you pay and leave the store, they do not care what happens next. Allan, Jimmy are nice sales people. But manager-owner doesn’t care at all. False, misleading advertising of items not in stock, items that are actually discontinued. Never return your phone calls. If you need refund, you need to come back to the store and they will press you to purchase different item. If I could I would give zero stars.
