Amazing food. Served quickly with care. Amazing atmosphere and employees. Great place to eat and enjoy life.

I am reviewing the bar, I went here with my friend and had a large Red Trolley Ale which came in a 32oz glass and tasted clean and tasty. The barstaff was friendly and even though two tv’s had gold there was one on with boat and car racing which is more my style. Both beers came out to 17.50 which isn’t bad considering the size and that they are craft beers. I will have to try the food which smelled delicious next time!

My family and I have been eating at this local BBQ place for years now. Always amazing food! The aroma from the meats being smoke in the back just lures you into the restaurant. I would strongly suggest the BBQ beef ribs. There is nothing like melt off the bone meat combined with their BBQ sauce! If you are in the mood for something lighter, the southeast salad is a delight plus the portion is enough for two to share. For the sides, pick the sweet potato and Mac and cheese.

It was really good. Better than Applebees for sure. Not cheap. This is the first time I’ve been and I took my two daughters with me. Tried the BBQ Platter. There was way more fat with the meat than I care for, but still good. And the BBQ sauce is one of the best I’ve had so you can just add more of that. My kids loved their food and the waitress was sweet and attentive. I’ll go back. I would have given it 5 stars if the food were just a tad better. But if you’re looking to stay in town, it’s a great option.

Wonderful 1^st experience. Food was good, loved the yam, bread, sauce, tried tip, slaw. Since was our first time there tried the sampler as recommended by the hostess, perfect suggestions, next visit we know exactly where we wish to explore next.
The ambiance, décor, and music was perfect. We love finding local «joints» and this was a good find. Continuing our quest in our new home town.

I love this place
The manager manny and our waitress Ashly rocked it. Way above average service, great food and the attention to detail isn’t something you would expect in a down home bbq joint but it is what we got. I wish this place was in my home town!!!

Very friendly staff, good layback place not for fancy dinning. Food is good would recomend the beef ribs or the po’boy jalapeño popper just LOVE them. One thing I did not care for was the appetizer hot wing, yea not sure how you go wrong with wings. Over all great relaxing spot.

Exceptional service with excellent food and drink. Hands down the best BBQ in town. Highly recommended for quality night out. Manny is the man.

My girlfriend and I have been here a couple of times. Every time it is better than the last. We’re going back tomorrow!!! All I can say is if you get the Smokin’ Jack Tri Tip Sandwich you will have food orgasms with every bite. Top that off with a Red Trolley Beer and you’re in heaven!!! Their large size is Oktoberfest mug size! A perfect place to stop by on our way back from Idyllwild. Thank you sweet baby Jane you make my life complete!

Just got back from a terrible lunch there. Tri tip sandwich was cold, as were the steak fries, and the onion rings were swimming in oil. Also the fries were hard as they were undercooked. The table was sticky and dirty, and the silverware was not in much better shape. When we complained about the food the waitress said she would take it off the bill and all we would need to pay for was the pitcher of beer. At $ 19 for a pitcher of beer, I guess they really don’t need to charge for the crappy food.

Bloody Mary’s are great. Bbq ribs very good. We are never disappointed in the food.
We had a larger group during this last visit. As a result, we were seated in the back, by the restrooms. Its isolated and uncomfortable. The seats sink when sit down! The waitress treated us like an afterthought.
But, we love the place, so we’ll keep our group small from now on. If it grows to over 4, we’ll go elsewhere.

Absolutely love this place! It’s the best in town.
I like to park in back where they do their smoking so my car has «air freshner» when I get back in lol
I usually get the sampler & spilt with my husband & it’s plenty of food.
4 picks of meat & 2 sides & garlic bread mmmm mmmm, getting hungry just thinking about it lol
LOVE their spinach & artichoke dip & dessert isn’t to bad either.
Another review had said Dickeys was a better place to go, HA… NO WAY! Their not even in the same league

What a great spot! The staff are friendly, everybody knows everybody, everybody calls you friend, you don’t need an invitation… AND THE BBQ IS AMAZING!!!

We stopped in for THE BEST SMOKED BBQ in the INLANDEMPIRE !! The folks are VERY attentive and nice. We sat and noticed this happens each time someone is seated. We got our order hot and plentiful helping. Dont forget about this place we will be back…

I was in the area for work and was looking for a bbq spot to go to. I’m not one for going to chain restaurants so I decided to try this place. It’s located in downtown Hemet. I went during lunch and it wasn’t crowded at all. I walk in the restaurant and am waiting at the front for someone to help me and no one is to be seen. Mind you, there was a bell that rang when I walked in. I end up walking to the bar and the waitress says «Can I help you?» along with a side of attitude. Hmmm, bad customer service much? Regardless, she gives me a table and takes my drink order.
I ordered my food and proceeded to wait for it. I ordered the beef brisket with a side salad and Mac & Cheese. The meal came with a piece of garlic bread. So at first, they bring me the meal without my salad. A few minutes go by and I still am yet to receive my salad. So I walk up to the bartender and she says, oh yea, I forgot. She walks to the back and proceeds to bring out my salad. First thing I noticed, the salad is drowning in dressing. I eat the entire bowl and there’s a good ¼ inch of Italian dressing floating at the bottom. The brisket was tough, I had a hard time chewing it. The Mac & Cheese was average, reminded me of KFC. Best part of the meal was the garlic bread.
I’d highly recommend staying away from this place, especially if you’re not a local. Seems like those are the only people the bartender would cater to. Between the rude service and the less than average food, save yourself the trip and go to the Dickey’s BBQ nearby!

First of all let me explain why I gave this place only 3 stars. the first thing I seen when I walked up was a bunch of old men in the front smoking and drinking and one we got in it was like a blast to the past all the furnishings were old and the seats were really uncomfortable.
Now on a haapier note, once our large party was seated in the back of the restaurant our servers attended to us very quickly. I believe the lady’s name was Alana, she was super helpful and very patient with our large group. I would say she gave us 4 star customer service.
As for the food, let me just say it was pretty darn delicious. They have their own smoker behind the restaurant and you can smell the meats cooking in the smoker (mouth watering). We ordered the sampler platter it is large enough for 3 people and the cost is very affordable at $ 19. A must try are the fried Mac n Cheese balls for appetizers, so yummy!
So the only reason why this place received 3 stars is because of the condition of the restaurant but if you don’t care about old seats, ugly walls, a dark n dingy restaurant & your only out for a good meal regardless of all that, then by all means head on over to Sweet Baby Jane’s!
