Couple of problems with this store & the corporation in general.
BE CAREFUL OF THEIR NEWEST PROMOTION — DIGITAL COUPON! S!!! There is NO WAY TO OPT OUT of 3^rd party information sharing. If you call their customer service office, they LIE on the phone & tell you they don’[t share your info. BULLSHIT. The privacy statement clearly states they do may share information.
This is an old store, it’s dark, dated & inventory is limited on some things. Like all chains, they have only so much shelf space, so they put in what they THINK will sell. I no longer shop exlusively at Staters. They also keep stale dated product on their shelves.
As regards the butcher shop of Staters, boy, you gotta keep your eye on what they weigh when you ask for meet. The ALWAYS, without exception weigh more than you ask for, then look at you sidewawys when you tell them, NO, that is not what I asked for, pull some of that out.
And last — I don’t like their attitudes. For that matter, the attitudes of many of the retail establishments in Hemet leaves something to be desired. If I had the seed money, I’d open a store & show people what REAL customer service is like.

Love the bakery… hate the fried chicken! Why does it taste like hospital food? The other one on Esplanade makes it perfectly… someone PLEASE tell the manager to have his employee go «there» for training!!! The Manager IS very friendly and so are «most» of the employees…

The store itself is okay, but there are always lowlifes and beggars hanging around out front and in the parking lot. Unfortunately, Staters does not care enough about its customers to provide security out front.

It’s been 50 years. Lose the brown aprons. Props for being a regional business that employs a lot of people and keeps it local.

Stater Bros. sports a friendly, clean environment in the «heartland of California.» I have moved on (read: escaped) from Hemet, however, Stater Brothers will always hold a place in my heart as an excellent store that has great deals without the hassles that come from mandatory club cards (junk mail, spam, ect.). Highly recommended, though the clientèle of stores like this vary by location, so don’t judge the store by its customers…
