Lemon Grass, located in a mini mall next to a that Thai massage parlor but dont let that convince you not to go in because the food, is fantastic. I am from Hawaii, I spent much of my youth on the islands and the food is what I miss the most, homemade authentic asian food. Lemon Grass is the real deal, great food made from scratch and great service. If you think Panda Express is great food, you dont want to eat here because your brain will explode when you realize what really great food is. As you walk in, the room is somewhat dark, dark bamboo flooring, black tables and chairs with a beautiful hand painted asian mural on the walls with Koi fish and lily pads. The Phở’(Noodles(Rice Vermicelli) in broth served with various meats or seafood in a bowl as big as a halved soccer ball) is the best Ive had in decades, a rich homemade broth and from making my Phở’ broth at home, I can tell this broth is cooked and simmered for at least 12– 24 hours. Pineapple Thai fried rice, amazing. Chunks of pineapple in a curry spiced rice with HUGE whole peeled shrimp and thin sliced pork, topped with chopped cilantro. Décor= 5 stars Service= 7 stars Food= 10 stars I had to use my own rating system because only giving 5 stars thru Unilocal, didnt seem enough.

Their peanut sauce is really good. I also really enjoyed their Iced Thai Tea, it was very refreshing. Food was fresh and filling. Lovely décor and atmosphere inside the restaurant.

Good heavens this place is great! I wish I’d found it sooner. I got the food to go and when i got home the Crispy Egg Noodles with chicken was piping hot and so delicious! Loved the sauce and it was packed with fresh stir fried vegetables and plenty of meat. Plenty for two people as long as you have an appetizer too. The Spring Rolls were out of this world! Fresh, crisp veggies and a delicious peanut sauce. The order comes with two big fat shrimp and pork springrolls and were plenty filling. I will def come back to try more off the menu. This is my new favorite Asian food spot. Dining in, the décor looked really nice(casual)

Not just the best food in Hemet, this is one of the best Thai places I have been to. Tried it for the first time today and fell in love. If you like Thai(or even Vietnamese Phở), you have to give this place a try! Every dish we had was excellent. But it’s popular… You may have a wait.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review on this place! I’ve been coming to this Lemongrass for years! Food is great and probably the best in town for sit down Asian cuisine. But top in the list is the phó. Phó is what I order 95% of the time and it never disappoints. Other noodle dishes and curry are great too. I recommend starting with the Spring rolls or salt/pepper calamari. The employees are great with the owner there most of the time making sure all his customers are happy and satisfied. Jennifer is our family’s favorite waitress. Always has her beautiful smile on and makes certain that our time there is enjoyable. Come give this local business a try!

Good Asian food… Probably the best in Hemet. The place needs to expand though. There are only enough seats for 18 parties at a time and during dinner rush; people are told wait times are 45 minutes or longer. They are losing a lot of business because of that. Last time we ate here; the food was good but because of the dinner rush and people waiting… We felt rushed to eat our food in a hurry; we were given the check before we were even a quarter way into eating. Good food but they need to expand.

No one can argue about the quality of food in this restaurant it is very popular and often has a group of hungry diners waiting for a table The popularity of this place may be for its undoing as no one wants someone standing and watching one eat hoping you can hurry up your meal so they can get a seat. Having folks standing around next to tables is an irritating distraction from an otherwise tasty meal If you are looking for a quiet diner without a lot of commotion you might want to pick another place

This is my first time coming to this restaurant, the food was amazing but service is too slow. They need more waiters to make it a better customer service experience.

This is my first time Unilocaling & Apparently everyone who’s a reviewer on Unilocal is a FoodNetwork ‘Chopped’ chef/critic. I adore reviewers that claim things like, «tasted like dishwater», «smelled like thousand year old shoes», «couldn’t even feed this to my family» etc etc etc. You name it. Gripe after gripe, so on and so forth, on all levels of emotional trauma. This provides so much anticipation while I wait for a table. You are delightful, so you do you booboo. My heart goes out to the friends and family members of the illegitimate Gordon Ramsay clones leaving one star reviews for cases like, «it was busy af». Hail to the ‘kings and queens’ of San Diego and Orange County, who bless the valley with their omnipresence on the internet. «Oh I’ve had far better food». Yeah, you and everyone else in Southern California, so kudos to you. This place is aight. Sometimes it’s whatever, but I’ll come back anyway, because you know… Hemet.

It just really seems like this place is losing their charm, quality of food and customer service. I use to love them place, they had HUGE portions, great quality food. And now… They have messed up our orders, they have hung up on me again! They leave their phone off the hook when they’re extremely busy, also they always run out food! «we are out of glass noddles» «we dont have panang» Really?!? This last time, they barely gave us any food on one our meals, and started putting fresh hot sliced peppers on the bottom of their dish, when they never did before(they used chili flakes usually) Its just upsetting, they always say they are«short handed» but iv seen many girls working there I think they’re just disorganized. Disappointing. I hope they get back to being better.

Came here on a busy Saturday evening. Service was still on fleek. It’s a nice restaurant. I could have vegan pad se lew, while mom ate Chinese Fried rice and my dad ate phở. It doesn’t cover Filipino unfortunately. Decent vegan options. It shows which menu items can be «veganized».

I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to review this place, but this is clearly one of the few good restaurants to eat at in the area. I always make it a point to eat here whenever I stop by to visit my parents in Hemet. The phö is great, and probably one of my favorite phö places(yeah crazy for it to be in Hemet of all places). The broth is flavorful and I love the fact that they shred their chicken, which is usually not fatty at all. Their rare beef is also good. I’ve had a few of their other standard hot dishes, like the teriyaki chicken and lemongrass chicken, which are also good, but I usually get their phö since it’s so good.

Enjoyed a great meal with Vern and Mary. The photo is of Vern’s crispy noodle dish. We’ll be back. A terrific find on the Hemet food scene.

I want to give this place for stars, but over the past few months my opinion of them has lessened. I know I’ll call ahead and place my order nearly 40 minutes ahead of time because that’s how long it takes to get 5 bowls of the house special phone made. Overall the quality of the food is good, definitely could be better. When I first started coming to this restaurant the atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was clean. I gave them a great review with I believe 4 stars. Now many months later you can tell that the claiming this has not been kept up and that paying attention to the finer details has gone to the Wayside. I’m still confused as to why the ownership chooses to use a table as a waitress station. To me that’s four seats where customers don’t sit and order food, and it doesn’t look good to the customers. To me it makes much more sense to cut out four customers at a minimum of $ 50 an hour, open for 8 hours a day, which is $ 400 a day, let’s say for 5 days that’s $ 2,000 that could be in the bank. Maybe there’s a method to their madness I just don’t get it.

The cuisine is spectacular. The Tom Kha soup along with the spicy lemongrass noodles are to die for. We’ve been here a few times with a large crowd. The staff is efficient, and courteous. I suggest them to anyone in search of Asian cuisine in the area. There are so many great dishes on the menu. It keeps me coming back to try new items each time.

Decent Asian food in the Hemet area. The décor inside is very modern and gives it a nice ambience. The food was comparable to Asian foods I can normally get in the highly populated Asian areas.
