Frankly Hemet is a hard place to find 5 star service. But at the Golden Ginger, Kevin delivers. He is amazing. The only thing more amazing is the food. We ordered the«B» dinner with Wor won ton soup(OMG) and teriyaki Chicken and spicy Shrimp, fried rice. It was the best Chinese food I have had in Hemet. Yes it is a little more, but man, you get what you pay for! We left with some serious midnight snack goodies in the left-over department. Everything was so good, I nearly made myself sick, I ate too much. Bless Kevin’s heart, he kept checking back to be sure we were good, and when we were ready to roll out of there he was on top of getting us packed up to go, we never had to wait for a thing. Over all highly recommended, and NO I don’t work there(good thing, I would weigh alot more…)

Love Golden Ginger! The servers are super sweet and friendly, and service is very fast and they are always on it! I love the sauces they use, apparently made in house by the owner! Compliments to the chefs(and owner) for sure! Their Mongolian beef is to die for, a must try! I have yet to try their delivery service, but they’re just 8 minutes away so we drive here. I try to come here once a month. I also like that they offer their lunch specials daily, and not just Mon-Fri like a lot of other places do. The ambiance is very calming and quite, a huge contrast to the dusty, loud streets right outside. it’s like walking into a new world, lol. Highly recommended!

Service has been slow recently and food quality has gone down. Very bland and nothing out of the ordinary to be honest. Berbers have been especially rude. It’s in a convenient location.

Food is decent since there’s a lack of good Chinese food in the area, but their service sucked. It is a bit on the pricey side for Chinese food as well. We ordered take out and the lady at the counter seemed extremely mad at us because we were a bit late in picking up our food and it was already paid for. Oh well, time to look for another takeout place.

Normally Chinese food is pretty basic. But this place seems to step up their flavor. We got seated right away but we were meeting a friend, so we told them that. We figured out what we wanted and started to order but unfortunately the lunch specials were not being honored. Maybe because it was new year’s day? I don’t know any way… I got the dinner special from section a. Hot and sour soup was definitely had best I have ever had. It was sour yet spicy and if had various veggies in the soup to add more texture and flavor. Then and egg roll with paper chicken. Pretty delicious, but the egg roll seemed pretty basic and nothing really special. My main dish was the Kung pao chicken. I had asked if this was super spicy or kind of spicy, the waitress said medium spicy. So I was a little nervous. I like spicy food but not to where I cannot taste my meal. So there were a lot of water chestnuts which weren’t bad but I thought they were garlic chunks so I got super excited. There were really tender and perfectly spiced chicken chunks. There was enough spice but sweetness too. Definitely a good choice. The brown rice was not over cooked it was perfect too with great earthy flavor. My wife got the shrimp and veggies… She was turned off by the congealed pieces and chunks of clear goo. But she did said it was good other than that. Despite being in hemet… We only go to visit family and friends … We would definitely go back. Especially for the lunch specials. We did have left overs for a couple days though.

HEMET… The very word conjures up images of… Well, you know if you’ve ever visited. Ladies and gents! I’m here to tell you that in addition to Hemet’s other reputations, it has now earned the title of city with the BEST Chinese food restaurant I have experienced to date. Now before you start the flaming, I have travelled far and wide for the best Chinese short of booking a 16 hour flight to the Far East. After disappointing attempts in San Francisco’s Chinatown, all over Orange County and Los Angeles it is just as big a surprise to me that what I have been looking for my whole life was nestled in a strip mall in Hemet this whole time. I know I’m supposed to go into detail about the service and food quality and what I chose on the menu but in all honesty, NOTHINGWASLESSTHANSTELLAR. Perfection. A symphony in every delectable bite. I recently decided that PF Changs, Pei Wei and every other supposedly«Chinese» restaurant pales in comparison to what was just served to me by this lovely establishment.

Food was good, but service… not too great. They weren’t rude, but we were the only customers there and they didn’t even follow up if we needed anything else. I had to wait 20 mins till my patience ran out. I got up and asked if they can give us some water. Saw them just chit chatting and eating by the registers. Were they all on break? To the point where I had to get up and ask for water. Oh did I mention we were the only customers? Second thing I ordered wonton SOUP. I got what I asked for and also regular fried cream cheese wontons… I asked«is this free?» The waitress said yes. I got the bill and I was charged for it. Ridiculous! I just paid for it and left with no tip. Not eating here again…

Unilocalers definitely let us down with this one. The only thing we were not too disappointed about was the service. We had a young man taking care of us last night who was very polite and tried his best to do right by us. We ordered the wonton soup(SALTY and fishy tasting) egg rolls(SALTY and greasier than most egg rolls) kung pao chicken(SALTY, starchy, gluey fungus like consistency) and chicken fried rice(SALTY times 50). If you LOVE salt and want to walk out of there feeling like a bloated mess, I would highly recommend this place. I for one love salt and can eat a whole bag of chips or bottomless french fries at any given time, but this place takes salt to a whole new level that no human being should ever encounter. I’m pretty sure my tongue has wilted off due to the level of sodium and probably MSG that they use here. Our server could tell we did not enjoy our food one bit, considering he kept having to refill our water because of the desert like dehydration we were experiencing because of the SALT. That and the fact that our food was minimally touched. We gave it a good effort by eating more than a few bites of each item, but my partner and I felt like our blood pressure was going up as we sat there and with each passing bite that we were getting closer to having a coronary, blocking an artery or developing multiple kidney stones. Props to our server for asking the manager if he could comp some of our food(without us asking him to do so, mind you) but a big booooooooooo to the manager for refusing to do so. We had every intention of paying for this sodium rich meal we were served but it is always a nice gesture and the RIGHT thing to do as a business owner to want to make your customers happy. Even if she would have taken just one item off of our bill I would at least have known that she cared about our feedback and it would have shown a good faith effort on her part. We will NEVER come here again and we thank you manager lady for being so comfortable taking our $ 31 last night for food we barely touched.

This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in the Inland Empire. Great selections… reasonable prices… good service. Try the Honey Walnut Shrimp! Another tasty entrée is the Indonesian Fried Rice. If you’re looking towards economy, go for the lunch specials instead of dinner. They include salad and soup with the lunch as well. We had my mom’s birthday here a couple years ago and the staff went out of their way to make the event special. :)

Came in for some Dinner the other night with the kids and Wife. Unilocalers let us down on this one. I understand this may be «cuisine» by Hemet standards, but I’ve had Chinese take-out from a strip-mall with better quality. The place isn’t horrible, but it surely isn’t gourmet by any means. Its take-out quality in a sit-down atmosphere. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is inviting and even a bit soothing. Like an escape from what’s just outside or Hemet in general. That’s always a plus. You get Crispy Noodles w/Sweet-and-Sour sauce to start. Standard. Me personally would like some Hot Mustard to go with it. Ordered some Edamame and Eggrolls as an appetizer. The Edamame was good, seasoned OK. Big portion on a big plate. But I would like some sort of sauce to dip it in. I made my own concoction out of Soy Sauce and the Hot Mustard that came with the Eggrolls. The Eggrolls were bland and flavorless. Even the sauce and Mustard couldn’t save them. I ordered the Sesame Chicken special, and my Wife ordered the Orange Peel Chicken. I would critique them separately, but they are THESAMEDISH! One with Sesame seeds on it, the other with some cooked orangepeels and hot peppers thrown on it. They tasted OK, but I expected more from this place. Especially with the price. At least they came with a few pieces of Broccoli.(sarcasm) My special came with salad and Egg Drop Soup. The salad was just a few leaves of iceberg lettuce w/crispy noodles and a vinaigrette that was vinairegrettable. It just rendered the crispy noodles into soggy noodles. Not that I wanted them there in the first place. The Egg Drop Soup was rather tasty, as I have yet so find a place that could botch this item up. My ordered extra soup for my kids, its their favorite soup. My Daughter likes it as is, my Son likes to add rice and, if possible, broccoli to his soup. Not bad. My iced tea was refreshing and tasty. The Lemon water was as well. Our waitress was friendly enough, and at the end of the meal, presented us with hot wet napkins to wipe ourselves off with. The origami oranges were a nice touch. The bathrooms were immaculate. Doubt I’ll be coming back. For $ 30, I could have gotten 42-item combos with Rice and Chow Mein, a bowl of Egg Drop Soup, and 2 large drinks at ANY take-out Chinese spot of the same(or better) quality of food.
