Has taken over $ 2000 in repairs for my daughters car and the original misfire problem is still not fixed. Each time he tells her what the problem is that will resolve the problem, he fixes it and then says oh that didn’t work lets try this. Meanwhile asking for more and more money each time. He’s a complete crook. Do not give him your money. Car is still not fixed.

Omar… This guy is a crook! I had a bmw 745 that had an electrical problem to where it wouldnt start, so he ran the diagnostics which i paid 80 bucks for so he told me it was the ecw and said he had to special order and program it and it costed 600 bucks… i paid for it… i didnt hear from him for a while (2to 3 weeks) after calling several times he finally said that that wasnt the problem and told me about another part that was a module and that was about 400. So i paid for it… after i paid for it he went incognito for another month or so i finally called and ask what was going on and he said he was going to have another professional come in and finish the job that friday… i let another three weeks go by and after not hearing anything i called him and no answer for a couple days… finally he calls and says he needed to wash his hands of job… and told me they couldnt figure it out… the car was parked outside the whole 3 to 4 months and got rained in and even vandalized the whole time… i really dont think he did anything to the car
…and im out if $ 1000 and i didnt get any of my money back. i ended up scrapping the car .when i was getting it towed he accually offered 1000 for it and i said no… watch for crooks like him… he will take your money an not fix nothing!!!

Terrible!!! Omar Banks of German Werks is a ripoff scam artist. I came to him for a timing belt change, and he talked me into a complete engine rebuild, for which i paid him nearly $ 4k for. he had excuse after excuse, and delay after delay, including the «death of his grandmother» «wife and kids sick» etc. he kept the delays and the findings of small problems up for over three months, including basically holding my car hostage for the last 2 weeks.
End result?!: He had not even touched my car!
Do not do business with this man! be warned! My banks are in dispute with him right now. Omar Banks is a con artist who will take your money and hold your car hostage. Be warned! go to a reputable mechanic! Never again will i do this kind of thing! Crazy!

What can I say I just can’t say good enough things about Germanwerks. I was having a very bad howling noise from under the hood of my 2006 Bmw 760li, I gave Omar the owner of Germanwerks a call and let him know my concern, he immediately knew what the issue was and asked me to bring the car in so that he could verify. As he thought he was correct, he gave me a very fair price on the parts and labor as well as he pointed out a few other issues my car was having as I had him address those also. His work was very quick and professional, even had my car washed after the repair. Germanwerks has a customer for as long as I own my Bmw.

I had an issue with my Audi drivers door. I thought it was the sensor and after talking with some other shops I was convinced it was the sensor.
One last call to Germanwerks and Omar was able to correctly diagnose my car over the phone. Sure enough after plugging my car into his system it turned out he was spot on — it was the door lock mechanism and NOT the sensor. Omar ordered the part and had it on in a jiffy.
Omar was great, knowledgeable and earned himself a new customer. My Audi will be worked on at Germanwerks.
