I am just sick over this!!! Can’t stand the fact that people use Christianity and their military service to promote and encourage others to do business with them … Then they are nothing but a hoax. Sick and so disheartening!!! It’s now September and we are still waiting for our refund of over $ 450.00 from Gary Stein and his wife. Just read up about them and you will see their history!

Have been scammed by these people. Very untrustworthy and I would not work with them. I also bought into his «cowpool» where I’ve paid monthly to have non-​existent cows grow. Ordered 3 chickens in January and as of June 16^th I have nothing. No chicken and no beef. Do NOT do business with Gary Stein!

This family scams our local community. They are running a «Cowpool» and have taken money from around 100 members and in a year delivered nothing. They lie over and over and over. Stay far away from Circle T Ranch

This place is operating an illegal side business selling read meat & chicken that has not been inspected and is handled in unsanitary conditions. He seriously needs to be shut down before someone gets seriously ill. The name of the side business is the Temecula Cowpool operated by Gary Stein. DO NOT buy into this cowpool. The meat is unsanitary. I will be filing an official complaint with the County of Riverside and contacting the Temcula Police dept to see what can be done.

This is a review for the Temecula Cowpool that is run through Circle T Ranch. We bought into the cowpool in late June 2014. We were supposed to receive our meat in January, but we were told that it would be pushed back a bit which wasn’t a problem. We even paid an extra month of grazing, which again, I didn’t mind. Finally March rolls around and we still didn’t have our meat or a potential butcher date so we asked for a refund. Gary said that we would receive our full refund in 2 – 3 weeks as he was refunding us little by little. Refunds were supposed to be given every couple of days, but if we didn’t remind him we wouldn’t get a refund. Anyways, we received a good portion of our money back, but are still owed. I tried to be patient and wait it out, but the lack of communication is what did me in, not to mention the lies. We also felt his marketing was deceptive. He advertised ¼ cow would yield approximately 167 lbs at $ 2.73 a lbs… I thought it was a good deal and we were sold. It wasn’t until a few people started getting their meat and only getting 60 – 70 lbs. Gary was first stand offish saying we bought a share of cow… not meat. Okay, then he started saying that the cows weren’t weighing much at time of butcher so they weren’t yielding much. Then he started saying that the weight we were quoted was a sample weight and a hanging weight. Nowhere in the contract or diagrams did it mention hanging weight. The bottom line is that Gary can’t even keep his stories straight. I have told him that I would lay off of him if he would just tell the truth… that lasted a day. He has never raised cows before and this business is unplanned and not thought out. I do not recommend buying into this disaster. Take your money to the fair and buy a hardworking kid’s cow that has way more experience raising livestock than Gary.

This business or any business run by Gary stein or his wife should be closed immediately!!! He’s a con artist, thief, liar, and a disrespect to the United States !!! How one person could sleep at night after taking $$$ from families is beyond me. Be warned, run from any business he has! Only gave it a star because I had to !!

I need a «ZERO STARS». This is in reference to Mr. Gary Steins business called Temecula Cow Pool /​Temecula Veggie Pool etc. It should be called Cow and Veggie Rip Off. He has a very convincing webpage
The owner claims be a good olé boy that just wants to provide people with healthy, farm raised beef, pork, chicken and veggies for a «buy in» on a share. For our part we bought in on the Veggies, to test the water. BIG MISTAKE. Only lies, deflections, excuses. No produce, and no meat. Many people in the community that trusted this guy, are out a LOT of money. RUN AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. Don’t buy into the good olé boy thing. Buy your own veggies at a farmer’s market, or buy and raise your own calf, or buy organic. But don’t buy here.

I used Circle T Ranch for their CSA (Temecula CowPool). I cannot begin to explain the frustration, anxiety and stress this Cowpool has caused me. I’m only posting my review today as I have received a full refund on my ¼ share. The refund was paid back in parts and to receive each payment took multiple emails for each one. People are now being told that refunds will not even be given. Gary really needs to hire an assistant if he continues CSA. Also, there needs to be more transparency. I asked multiple questions that were never answered. I was never told what herd I was in (even though I asked multiple times). I questioned why the butcher fee went from $ 108 to $ 160…I understand it was an estimate, but that’s a big jump. The only explanation I received was that the $ 108 was an estimate. I’m very happy that I asked for a refund when I did as I am sure the refund requests are rolling in now that the shares are 50−60lbs. vs. the 167lbs. presented in the Facebook ads to bring us in. To go from $ 2.73lb. (1^st. herd) to over $ 10lb. is just crazy. I understand that we are buying a share of a cow and not the meat per se but showing 167lbs. on his advirtisements is VERY misleading to say the least. Before buying into anything Gary is selling I suggest you do a search on Temecula Cow Pool Buyers on Facebook and Temecula Cowpool Discussions.

My 17 yr old granddaughter started boarding her horse here about 7 months-​ago. They were to feed alfalfa and Bermuda hay. They switched to allow grade oat hay then to cubes which her horse chocked on. She decided to move the horses for their welfare. Gary Stein never had a signed agreement with her or her mother, only her boyfriend woisnotlegallyeaponsiblefor herorhrhores. Gary Stein demanded over twice the amount of the board When they paid him more than the amount doe, Gary Stein and his father in lay yelled at her and called her names and had her hysterical he is holding over 1000 worth of tack for what he says is 177.
