My sister and I had the Best experience here. The barkeep suggested we each have a different flight, and we ended up having a great time. We bought a great bottle to enjoy. The atmosphere is so cozy.

I loved the atmosphere and Bella (the company fur baby) was too adorable. I bought my mom a bottle of Red Wine. She enjoyed it. I thought they would have more wine glasses for sale so inward kind of disappointed when I asked and they didn’t. Wild definitely recommend this place to everyone.

I went here one night for the movie under the stars with a friend who frequents the winery and had a great time. The wine was amazing and the atmosphere was so laid back and nice. I would recommend this place to my friends as it was a fun place to go.

We found this winery tonight and absolutely loved it. Nice country relaxed setting which I love! Both Lynn and Rose were so helpful and made us feel right at home. It’s hard to find a nice laid back place and this is it for sure.

Here is what I think of the place, good wine. Good atmosphere but a little too crowded as far as tables go. I’m sure this place is a tad bit uncomfortable when it’s packed. I like the wine. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. I’d come back.

We stumbled into this place since wine 101 was closed for a private event and we had an awesome time. Gloria was super friendly and we sampled several wines all of which were delicious. Ended up leaving with two bottles and a new favorite wine place close to home.

Great people who treat you like family (we love Esteban!), good wine, and an adorable, sweet bulldog, Bella, as your welcoming committee, make HCW the perfect stop! My husband and I like very different wines, and we found a chilled glass of both our favorites here. Step out to enjoy the weather and comfort of the porch, or stay inside and enjoy a fun conversation with the owners and employees, locals, and other visitors; whatever type of experience you want, you will find here. We look forward to stopping by for a visit and a glass of wine, any time we are in the area.

Very good strawberry riesling and their seasonal peach wine is awesome. The staff is very freindly and will let you do samplers. I always love coming here. Perfect place to get a valentine’s gift set also.

Nice place to chill and enjoy local home made wine. The owner is always very sweet and personable:) the manager and wine hostess is awesome! Try their cheese platters with olives and crackers for a delish snack. Don’t forget to ask for business card so you can receive $ 5 on your next visit.

WOW! What a kick ass find!!! If you go to Helotes and don’t stop here you are doing yourself a serious injustice. Whether you’re out antiquing with your family/​friends or you’re just passing through; ensure you stop in for a few and try some of their in-​house made wines.
My wife and I stopped in to kill time after lunch and ended up leaving nearly two hours later with four bottles of wine. There are many great things happening for this locally owned and operated winery and I cannot wait to see them come to pass. Also, check them out on Facebook to find out what they have going on in the future.
I promise you won’t be disappointed!

FRIENDLY!!! We visited with friends and stopped in on a quiet Saturday. The staff was very helpful with inexpensive tastings we walked out with 7 bottles between two couples. The Peach is perfect in the hot tub!
