Have gone here for years to get my Chinese food fix. My favorite dish is the chicken and broccoli and the hot and sour soup. The food and prices are great. They also serve sushi. Decided to try it here for the first time after having it at other restaurants that serve mainly sushi. I tried the spicy shrimp roll to go and it was okay. A little on the bland side. Just not a lot of flavor to it. I’ll definitely keep coming back for Chinese food and may try a few other sushi rolls here to see how they are.

We used to live in Memphis and our favorite go-​to was Chang ’ s House. Well we moved to the Helena area and started looking for a new place for Chinese food. Well after trying a few places around town we found Lucky China and have really enjoyed their food. The garlic chicken with white rice is very good. Not too greasy and their spring rolls are very good as well and doesn’t have that heavy grease taste. Their hot sour soup is awesome too. I recommend the sizzling hot rice soup!

Lucky China is a good neighborhood Chinese restaurant, not the best Chinese food in Birmingham, but perfect for the «Gee, I feel like Chinese tonight» urge. The staff is courteous — they quickly get to know you by your voice when you call for take out — the food is good and they even have good sushi. Jimmy, one of the brothers, spent a year in New York learning to prepare it.
We like the Mongolian Beef, Mushu Pork and Chicken Fried Rice. The Teryaki Chicken Sticks appetizer is great for our young picky eaters… and for us too!
The setting is simple, like an American diner with a Chinese mask.
