I only have one experience here, so I look forward to other reviews … but this might be just about the slowest, worst run, least convenient Peet’s I’ve ever been to. It’s hard to imagine how one dude could take … so … long … to … help … a … customer. Seriously, when I arrived at CVG to change flights, I was delighted to consult the map and see that there was a Peet’s in the airport. With the amount of time I had, a Peet’s fix was a no brainer and should have been easy. Oh, how disappointingly wrong I was. Being 4th in line shouldn’t have been a problem, but when it took the barristo(is that what you call a male barrista?) more than 5 minutes to help the first customer, I knew I was in trouble. And when it took him that long to help the next — and not for anything fancy, mind you — I cut my losses and gave up. I still can’t quite tell what took him so long. Honestly, he seemed to be reading and re-reading the instructions before every step of each transaction. Dashed hopes and still in need of coffee … I was a mess. After that, even the coffee on the airplane tasted good.
