China Wok Restaurant

The service was great and the place is clean, but the food was undercooked, I don’t mean a little, almost raw beef in my fried rice. Maybe it was just first time bad luck, but I’m afraid to try it again.

Me and my group of 5 walked in ready to kick off our night but were quickly disappointed. The male host we had was confused as to where we were going to sit. Our waitress barely spoke English and kept looking at other tables (that were empty) while writing our order. After we told her we wanted separate checks she still brought only 1 check. I will not be dining in here again.

China wok is always a good option when you’re in the mood for Chinese food and just so happen to be in the Hebron area. They are always friendly. Always. I once ordered from another Chinese place, then ended up accidently going to China Wok to pick up the order. They said they could fix my food quickly so I don’t have to drive somewhere else, it felt like I waited about 3 minutes for my order. Sweet!
They have a good location because there is plenty of parking; they have a pick up spot right in front of the door, although with a bar next door, sometimes the lot can be crowded.
Overall, this is a great place to eat. I wish they delivered though, that would be great! Oh, and I wish they had a kids menu, but most places like this don’t have one.

China Wok is my go to for those nights you don’t feel like cooking and are craving Chinese. The food is always consistent and good. The standard General Tso’s, Orange Chicken, Lo Mein and Pad Thai are always solid and the spring rolls always hot and crispy. Any time I order it is always ready in 10 – 15 minutes and waiting for me when I arrive. They also have a lunch buffet with a smattering of the classic dishes. Pricing is average for take out, two entrees and an order of spring rolls is usually around the $ 20 mark. All in all China Wok fulfills that chinese take out craving when I don’t want to leave Hebron for take out. They are in the strip behind Dairy Queen, it can be easy to miss if you haven’t been there before.
