I am not one to run over to Unilocal to write reviews. The word is out: LUMINATE is LUMINOUS! I just got back from a signature facial with Melissa and it was. .. in a word. .. outstanding. So rejuvenating. My skin looks and feels amazing. I have had tons of facials at high end spas over the years, and am pleased to say this was a beautiful, calming, super-​professional quality experience in a really relaxing intimate setting. I am witnessing how skin changes over time (yes, am proudly aging – we all are) and this is a really important ritual. The facial includes muscle massage in the surrounding zones. Melissa has sheer talent and grace and is really good at what she does. You deserve it, sign yourself up!

Amy is amazing! She was very flexible with scheduling to meet my needs.
The environment is clean and very nurturing. I was treated to this experience for some healing, «me» time. It was all I could have asked for and more.
Amy is very good at reading her clients and adjusting as needed from touch to talkativeness, and everything in between.
I will be back! I would highly recommend Amy to anyone.

Had a facial and eyebrow wax with Melissa. Absolutely fantastic experience. It was so relaxing and my skin looked and felt amazing. The boutique is lovely and very comfortable. Location is great, easy to find and easy to park. Treat yourself to a visit!

I had the most amazing experience getting a facial with Amy Ramirez last week. She was very professional, friendly, and had wonderful bedside manner. She is a natural at what she does; and I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep. My skin has been incredibly soft and firm since my appointment, and I am looking forward to my next facial with her in March! Thank you Amy!

Lets face it, waxing cannot be painless, especially a Brazilian, there’s always going to be a sting. But I found the place that has a very clean and comfortable atmosphere, complemented by friendly professional staff. Amy made a sometimes uncomfortable experience into a pleasant one, very precise and gentle.

This spa is actually owned by friends of mine and naturally I wanted to be able to post a positive review. I went for my first facial appointment here shortly after they opened and am pleased to report that my experience was awesome! Melissa was my esthetician. I have had many facials and my experience far exceeded my expectations. My skin is very dry and when the facial was complete it was as though it had been reborn. Also, my hands, feet and neck were massaged so thoroughly I nearly fell asleep. I highly recommend Healdsburg’s newest Spa! We have so many here in our tourist town but I’ve found most to be bleh or way over priced. Luminate Skin Boutique is neither of these. The other huge plus is the location. You don’t need to search for an hour to park which has become a big problem here. It’s located right next to Parish restaurant and the Antique Mall across from Carl’s Jr. No having to walk through downtown with ‘spa hair’ just park right outside their entrance. Thank you Melissa for the great experience. I will be back. FYI, have yet to try the massages but I hear they are exceptional as well!

Melissa gave me a facial and a spray tan and both were fantastic. My husband said it looked like the best spray tan I ever received! I love all the colors and how she decorated inside, and she also carries the Image skincare line which I love. I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve had multiple services with Amy. A facial, back treatment, waxing, sugaring & am having a series of facial peels done now. Amy is wonderful at it all! The facial was awesome! So relaxing, my skin felt so nice afterward. The back treatment I had was so relaxing I fell asleep! I don’t think I’ve ever done that before with a treatment! My peels are also making my skin feel & look great! Amy’s a must go to at Luminate Skin Boutique!

I got the best facial of my life from Melissa. It was so relaxing and all the products she used were amazing too. I felt a little bit of heaven and then when I thought it was over she started on my feet. Yes my feet got pampering too. Really the best facial ever. The salon is awesome. So classy and clean with plenty of parking and even an awesome bar next door, Flo. This place would be the perfect spot for a girls spa day. I’m already plotting for my next one and getting gal pals to join me.

If you want to look AMAZING before an event, or in general, go see MELISSA, she is AMAZING!!! I got a spray tan done by her, which I am extremely picky on where and who I go to (I was a manicurist, so I’ve worked in the biz)! Not only is the salon very clean and classy, the services are outstanding! Melissa started off by giving me a sample of face wash to wash off all of my make up from the day. Not only was this product awesome, I totally bought a bottle after I was finished. The spray tan was wonderful! The product Melissa used was not super wet and sticky, and I even went shopping after. This morning when I went to the gym, I got so many compliments on my skin, and my complexion, and all I did was get spray tanned by Melissa!!! If you want to look amazing, go see Melissa!!!

This has been hands down the best facial I have received in years. You walk into a very inviting room with a nice greeting smile. Everything is beautifully decorated and you are made to feel comfortable right from the start.
Thank you Melissa for your amazing hands and product that made me wanting more. It was a long time waiting for me to get a facial and now I know that it is something that is a necessity in my life. I look forward to seeing you again.

This place is amazing! Parking and a glass of wine next door at FLO while you wait… Melissa has the hands of an angel, an awesome product line and her services are stellar. What a great new spot in downtown Healdsburg.
