Fabulous pizza, flavorful meats, cheese,& peppers on perfect crust. The best fettuccine Alfredo I’ve had, besides my own. Great bread. Service & attention was outstanding.

Just thought I’d write an update. I have lived in Geyserville and Healdsburg my whole life. I’ve been going to this restaurant since 1979. Just about every local who lives here is sick of the«out of towners» and transplants from other areas telling us their opinion about our town. Again, if an old floor or blinds bothers you, go elsewhere! Nobody complained before, and actually the locals prefer you patron the«dime a dozen” other restaurants in downtown Healdsburg. You can take your opinion with you. Paying through the nose is a hard price to pay for being stylish!!! Giorgio’s is one of the longest surviving eatery’s in town, if not the longest. That in itself says a lot.

Waited over an hour &25 mins, before we left because our food was still going to be another«8» minutes. We even made it simple and ordered Pizzas… worst service/customer service ever!!!

Let me add my «ick» to the other«ick» voices. I have no problem with a restaurant doing business in an old building. I do have a problem with a restaurant doing business in an old, decrepit, dirty, not-maintained old building. We’ve been visiting Healdsburg for over 15 years, and moved here 2 years ago; this weekend we went to Giorgio’s for the first time, which will probably be our last time. Dirty, torn-apart seat cushions, indifferent service. The«anti-pasta» salad was okay, the dressing weird. Husband’s minestrone soup was familiar tasting — maybe Progresso? Husband’s lasagne was also okay, but my veal cutlet parmesean was awful. It’s supposed to be pan fried and crispy, this was limp and there wasn’t even enough cheese on it to hide the limpness. It tasted like … well, nothing. The veal had no flavor. I don’t know how they did that. All the 5-star reviews are for their pizza; we’ll try one for our next visit or get them to deliver. One thing is certain, we will not be eating in the restaurant again. :shudder:

This is the only place nearby to get pizza, but I didn’t want pizza so I tried their chicken alfredo. I can’t afford to waste money and this was not worth it. For $ 16.50 their chicken alfredo is completely flavorless, tasted literally like oil and nothing else, not butter, not cream, not parmesan, oil. Alfredo literally has three ingredients: butter, cream, and parmesan cheese. If there was any cream or cheese in there at all it had long separated out from overheating. The chicken didn’t actually taste that bad but on the top of oily fettuccine this was awful. On top of that, they sell a half loaf of garlic bread for $ 5.50 that really should come in a smaller portion on the side of an entrée if you’re charging $ 16.50 for it. Their restaurant is worse, it’s in an old house which is actually cool, but their decks haven’t been painted in ages, and their carpet looks worse, grubby and smells like old carpet. The dining room and bar looked clean but above your head is this fake lattice with old dusty faux grape vines that are yucky brown and moldy colored, you feel smothered by this claustrophobic yucky stuff overhead. This place needs Gordon Ramsay.

Love their pizza, but waitress is extremely rude and cranky. If I could rate just the service it wouldn’t even get a star. They are slow and I’m in awe that the waitress that served us today still has a job. She does NOT want to serve. That’s why I’m only giving them 3 stars. If I could rate the pizza separately, I’d give it 5 stars, though. Their crust and sauce set them apart. Very tasty!

These 5 stars are only for their pizza. It had the right amount of flavor and the crust was just perfect. I’m not sure I would eat here but if you’re looking for good pizza, order take out or have it delivered which from what I understand, would be delivered on their ambulance with«to die for pizza» labeled right on it. Lol! Restaurant Investors: this place is in a perfect location and if you can get the pizza maker to give you their recipe, you’ll have a gold mine! Not sure what the low mood of the place is all about or why it hasn’t been updated in years but try their Georgio special which I’m keeping their ingredients a secret. It was fabulous! If the house was remodeled but the charm of the inside red and white table cloths, vine ceiling and bar was somewhat replicated in improvements, this would be the neighborhood point of interest for both foodies and locals alike.

Been coming here for many years and its a mixed bag, Have had some excellent meals here and some bad meals. Good and bad service. We no longer go in and sit down for meals here. Its pretty run down and not the cleanest. We always order the pizza and have never had a bad one. Best pizza in Healdsburg. I think the pizza keeps the doors open. The drunk guy referred to in other reviews is the owner. He is a real piece of work. This could be the best Italian around if run right but with this guy in charge just get the pizza to go and avoid the drama.

Old tired building, old tired food. The pizza was fairly good. The Pasta left a lot to be desired. Salad was an after thought.

Ok Giorgio’s… I have been going to this restaurant for almost 20 years and I’ve always enjoyed their food. Never had a bad experience with food or service. I’ve come for many birthdays and special events over the years and literally drive by your restaurant everyday to go home. But… Over all the years, Giorgio’s has never painted their building. Come on, I think it’s time for change. New paint, make it look rustic, spicy and Italian looking. It is the wine country :)

If I could give it no stars I would. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and it was so thin I only tasted the breaded part. No site of any chicken. Horrible. The service was horrible as well. The seats in the booths are all ripped and the wall paint is peeling. The floor feels like it’s going to drop. The pizza is suppose to be delicious but I would take it to go. They really need to fix the place. I usually don’t ever complain about restaurants but this place was horrible.

The family style meal option was what the four of us chose, along with ½ carafe house red and ½ carafe house white. General consensus… Salad — straightforward and good. I liked the dressing. Minestrone soup — ehhhh, not so much. Ravioli were«ok» and the sauce it was in was«ok» as well. Parmesan and pepper helped! Pizza was really good! Those eggplant parm things… yeah…not so much. Very good deal for what you get but would’ve paid more to have better-tasting food.

Found not only one, but three hairs in my food. Might i add the third one was from my mouth. Had no idea where to wait to be seated, food was awful, watched the entire staff but on employee be on a break. Ignoring tables and scrolling through facebook. Definitely due for a health inspection. Do the employees even know what a «servsafe» is?

The restaurant itself was tired and worn down. The chicken piccata and fettuccini Alfredo was awesome. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with our son. Minus the part when she brought of refill of bread with her bare hands. The real issue with this place is the visibly drunk man yelling at the cooks in the back. So loud that we could hear, and threatening to punch one in the face. A few mins later he comes out and starts making pizza. What’s crazy is reading another review from jan 2013 where a customer was commenting on the same man yelling again in this restaurant. The food was great but not good enough to make up for the offensive pizza maker!

Total dive for a pizza/Italian joint, and we loved it. I’m happy to learn about the nexus between the SF location and here; the table cloths and lattice décor gave it away. I also understand why they’re no longer affiliated. It’s day and night, no hostess when we walked in, someone was yelling profanities in the kitchen. Two old military Vets sitting at the bar drinking away, very interesting scene compared to SF. The food is tasty as SF, deliciously homemade meat lasagna and garlicky bread to scare the vampires away. Hubby enjoyed his pitcher of beer; although, my margarita could have been bigger. Our waitress was chipper enough to check on us. SF is all about the family-friendly atmosphere, the kids have fresh dough to play with, customers can see the open kitchen, drinks are plentiful, waitresses are clearing tables while the line is out the door on 3rd& Clement. It is Healdsburg afterall, if you want fancy«fufu» restaurants, stay in the downtown area and eat at Spoonbar or Dry Creek. Come here to experience a divey ambiance, and you may never regret it. You will also have pizza leftovers for the next morning — pizza’s always good the next day. Check out the old pictures of Cliff House in SF on the wall, made me feel right at home growing up across the street from Cliff House. Plenty of parking unlike the city, and they also deliver. Their delivery truck is a cheesy ambulance with the words«Pizza to Die For»…hahaha.

«Hey, can you take 15 people… in 10 minutes?» So began our visit to Giorgio’s in mid-June. We arrived and discovered a little house in the middle of an orchard. A little puzzled we made our way inside and discovered a really quaint local’s spot. They seated us in our own private room, which was perfect for the group. Service was a little scattered, but they were very sorry about it and made it up to us. Pizza was really great, a bit on the bready side, but with a really crisp crust that we all loved. Fresh toppings, good sauce. Seems like this place has been making the same food for 60 years, which explains the ice berg lettuce salad and other quirks. But we loved it and it was very reasonable.

I loved Giorgio’s until this past weekend. My fiancé and his family are Healdsburg natives and have been going here for years. Upon moving to Healdsburg three years ago, I got hooked on the pizza and we usually order at least twice a month. They have great pizza and it is always one of our favorite options. That being said… our service this past Friday was atrocious and we will never give them our business again. We ordered around 6PM and were told on the phone that they were slammed and our pizza would be ready in 45 minutes. So, we go to pick it up about 50 minutes later and it was just a complete disaster in there. None of the servers or staff would help us, despite ALL of them making eye contact with us standing there. We just stood there waiting and finally, twenty minutes later we were able to stop someone and ask for help. They said to hold on and never came back. Meanwhile, the owner or manager, not sure what their title was, was standing at the pizza oven screaming at his cooks at the top of his lungs. Everyone in the establishment could hear him screaming at and degrading his staff, telling them they would be fired at the end of the night, what idiots they were etc… I have never been so appalled. It was clear that one of the pizza chefs was new and being trained that night, so it was clearly the managers fault for having someone scheduled for training on a busy Friday night. At the end of everything, we had stood and waited there 45 minutes to finally get our food. We were not apologized to, not thanked for waiting, no discount etc… Our food was cold and we had to reheat it upon getting home AND we had ordered and extra large and only received a large. If it weren’t for the obnoxious and horrendous manager belittling his staff, I would have considered going back but I simply cannot support an establishment that would treat people that way. They better get their act together or this place is going to crumble.

I came here with my family after a long day of wine tasting. When I first walked in I was not overly impressed. It looked a bit antiquated. Our waitress was a bit overwhelmed due to being short staffed and extremely busy. We were a 10 top and some of us were drunk. She had my sympathy. We all ordered family style and my girlfriend and I added a pizza. The soup was great. The pasta was a bit overcooked for in my opinion bit the sauce was a hit. The veggie pizza was the star of the night. We finished off the meal with more Chianti and ice cream. 3 stars for the waitress and 4 for the food.
