Just ate here with my family. Atmosphere was very nice and very clean. Wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Food was amazing! From sushi to hibachi, everything was wonderful. Our waiter even came out with a candle in fried ice cream to sing happy birthday accompanied by a gong! It was awesome!!!

Food was super good. Only issue we had was that the waiters hovered a little and made us feel rushed. And there was a large group of very rude and obnoxious students, but of course that’s not their fault. Will be going back for sure. :)

very good in my opinion. Hazleton is not on my list of places for raw fish but this is an exception. Mt. Fuji Roll has me coming back 4x now.

Great sushi. The hibachi is fun to do with a large group. Nice friendly staff. Recommended

The food was okay(I had the chicken teriyaki with rice) and my sister said the sushi was good!.. Its a bit expensive so be sure to bring extra cash just in case.

Food is okay for the area. The service was very slow. It was not a very busy night. I will give this place another shoot.

I loved this place when it opened! Great food and fun! BUTTHEOUTSIDEISHORRIBLE! The inside is not as nice/clean as when it opened and the chef is not enthusiastic unless the place is at full capacity. Food still very good if you can get past the other issues.

Food is delicious, service is terrible. Finding a waitress to get a refill on a drink is next to impossible and I had to ask for a cup of sauce 3 separate times! Then as we went to leave our waitress did not bring us any change. We had to go up to her and ask her for our change back! I am all for leaving tips but just helping yourself to my money is just completely uncalled for!

So bad on every level. Bad service. The wait staff acts like they are doing you a favor by taking your order. Rude rude rude. Will not go back.

My family and I have eaten here a number of times. The staff and the owner are great. The food is amazing, we usually get sushi but the hibachi is on point as well. Definitely stop by and check this place out.

The BEST sushi! We have loved coming here for sushi since the day it opened! We moved out of state a few years ago and always make a point to come and get some sushi here when we are back! My favorite is the Shogun roll! The hibachi is pretty great too! They serve 2 sauces with the hibachi and I always ask for extra! Eat here for lunch, it is a great value!

Best hibachi house around, sushi is awesome. Sushi chefs are very friendly they pretty much know exactly how to make my order and the hibachi has the most flavor I’ve tasted of all places I’ve tried… love going to this place and the owner is the best guy ever…

We had the hibachi chicken and shrimp which is what we frequently have at a Japanese restaurant in Venice. Florida, called Shogun. Nothing was anywhere near as good as the same meal at Shogun. Maybe their sushi is at of this world, but their hibachi is not as tasty as I’ve had elsewhere. The soup wasn’t as good, the salad dressing wasn’t as good, and the hot sake was also not up to the quality that I have had In the past. This was a real disappointment.

Hands down the best sushi I have eaten thus far. Having eaten sushi all over NYC and PHL, nothing compares. The sushi, extremly fresh and creative. Perhaps a roll is not to your exact liking, they have no problem altering any roll. Im quite sure they will create you a roll to your most demanding requests. The hibachi is quite tasty, however I only had it a few times, as when I am here, its Sushi. Who would have ever thought, a sushi restaurant… in Hazleton… that has terriffic sushi. Whatever, I am thrilled to have this place at my disposal when in need of some high quality and very tasty soosh. I highly recommend this place to all that read this review. You will NOT be disappointed, thats a promise. I usually frequent 3 times a week its THAT good. And, the prices, they are great too. Give it a shot!

Based on reviews, I expected really good Sushi. What I got was fantastic Sushi. This was on par with the better experiences that I’ve had in LA and NYC. Very surprising and I’ll definitely be coming through Hazleton for meals whenever work gives me the opportunity. The Naruto Roll was excellent and rolled in a pinwheel. Massive amount of Cuke and Tuna. Smoked Salmon Nigiri was tender and fresh. Maguro was almost glowing in the dark and made an excellent dessert. The Toro was lightly seared and as close to perfect as I’ve had it.

Pretty good sushi in a place where oyu would not expect it. Décor is dated and the place is cavernous but it makes up for it in the food. Ordered the tuna tataki which was seared, topped with jalepeno and tobiko and served over cucumber with a ponzu-based dressed. The onyl drawback was there was too much dressing and it was a bit on the sweet side. Ordered a spicy naruto roll which was sans rice and very large. It was a nice twist on spicy tuna and not as filling without the rice. Also had a spicy dragon roll which was also large and quite good. Topped with avacado, eel, spicy sauce and tobiko and filled with spicy tuna. Service was good. Would return.

Hibachi grill and the sushi were excellent. I know they are by far the best japanese restaurant in Hazleton and they sell at normal price. I would recommend the Dragon sushi roll and the Shrimp Tempura.

‘Twas good, fast, good performance, even better food, full bar No complaints, remember to play along with the saki pour into mouth & let loose for a bit boys and girls. One minor«complaint» is the insane 15% service charge added to a party of 4. I
