We ordered 9 meals from here (delivered) and all were good. The delivery was 20 minutes late of the time requested which was noon so not really a surprise. The variety that this restaurant has is what drew us in. Pizza, Pasta, Stromboli, Calzones, Salads, Pasta, Tacos, Hoagies, Burgers, Breakfast… Huge variety of food which was perfect for the varied tastes in the group.
Fries were expectedly somewhat soggy.
The cheesesteak stromboli and calzone were just OK.
Bruschetta Pizza had them asking for more.
Rice and beans were very small servings and the beans were… well refried beans are gross anyway.
Antipasto salad was huge and delicious.
Tacos were really good.
Frankie’s special sandwich was large and tasty, but not as special as one would think.

Ordered food for delivery. It arrived a bit slow but the food was wrong.
I called in to notify of the mix-up and was talked down to. I was blamed as if it was my fault they messed up the order. The woman on the phone was very nasty, argumentative, and rude.
I have been a customer for years yet was I was treated horribly. After she got finished being a jerk she said she’d send another one out but I was so offended by her I declined. They sent it over anyway and I refused to accept it and handed the delivery person the wrong food he first delivered, thanked him, and shut the door. My money was not refunded.
Permanent customer lost.

After reading the reviews I decided to give Frankie’s a chance. I ordered for delivery, although, it did come on time it was cold which I did not understand. Not to mention they take it upon themselves to add a tip to my receipt. I was going to leave a tip regardless I just find it rude that for a $ 23 order they feel the need to add the tip.

The food is great. Italian wedding soup chicken pristine is the best. All different types of pizza. Hoagies and sandwiches are the finest. Great service very clean inside as well. Everyone always smiling. Parking is great in front or across the street. Seating is a little tight. But it’s still good. I give this restaurant an A.

Service and food quality has improved considerably over the past several months, which is godsend number one. Godsend number two is they’ve expanded their menu to include, of all things, tacos and burritos — which is great for me because I’m kind of tired of pizza! Nice job, folks!

I can’t believe the bad reviews Frankie’s got! This is definitely one of my Go-to lunch places in Hazleton. Their soups are always delicious and this is probably the only place I would order a cheese steak hoagie from in Hazleton, any other place has been not enough cheese or the steak is gross and dried out. I love love their pizza and even more with mushrooms on it. They sautee the mushrooms in some garlic and oil and put them on the pizza, soo good. The people there are always so friendly too. However, I gave 4 stars because, yes the food is terrific, but the service can be a little better. A place I used to work at would order from there a lot and things would get mixed up quite often and one time they did lose our order. During lunch they tend to get really busy, so you should definitely call as early as possible if you need it at a certain time. They also should think about hiring more help around their busy times of day.

Even if you don’t love Frank Sinatra, you’ll like Frankies
I don’t think i’ve ever been there where they didn’t have sinatra music on. It’s a pizzeria with a little class.
Good pizza. Love the tavern, dads and pierogie pizza. Great soups, good sandwiches. Never a disappointment.
