Got the Gyro and it was super yummy. I don’t like meat of any kind very much and it had the perfect amount of meat as to not gross me out. Fries were crisp and delicious. Everything was just so yummy.

We had a bit of trouble finding the place, but it was well worth the trouble. Make sure you have cash. Not a lot of seating, either, but the Cheesesteaks were worth it. I had the Angelos which had a nice tang of sweet peppers.

We were passing through the area and saw this as a great opportunity to try a «real» Philly cheesesteak, based on the reviews we’d read. They DO have a bathroom and the Angelo, the cook and owner, is indeed a really nice guy. The food was delicious and the dining & bath areas are kept very clean. We had one mama’s, one steak & whiz and the potato & jalapeño pierogies. All were delicious. However, I was a little disappointed that they actually no longer offer Greek salad(thought I’d try to be a little healthy) Would definitely recommend to others.

The best cheese steaks in the area! Only way to get better would be to go back to Philly. Sadly the only complaint is that they changed their hours. I can no longer enjoy a pound of steak at lunchtime :) I saw another review comment on the rolls. i understand they get them daily from a bakery in Philly. The owner actually relocated so it is authentic as the area will get when it comes to steaks.

Was looking for a off the beaten path place to eat, Found this on Unilocal and figured I would give it a try. Cheesesteaks was great. No complaints! Got to met the owner, he was very nice! Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars was due to the lack of a bathroom. That’s just my personal preference. Parking can be a little tricky for your first time visit, parking is on the side of the building.

I went for the first time and the food was excellent. I had Angelo’s special cheese steak and my cousin had Mama’s cheese steak. The only difference is that mine had red sauce and his had pepperoni. Either way, both were excellent. Service was quick and courteous since the owners run the place themselves and keep it clean abd tidy. They also have Mon-Fri specials which are also cool. Let me say that when they mean is 1 pound cheese steak. they sure mean it.

We unexpectedly ended up spending the day in Hazelton when we came across this establishment. It seems to be a nice little mom-and-pop run place. We split a foot long cheese steak which was plenty for the two of us. The ingredients were fresh and it tasted great but the roll actually stood out as the best part!

Cheesesteak Mecca has gotten even better since my original view. Well, that’s not completely true — their food has been consistently wonderful, but they do take credit/debit cards now! My pick is the footlong with pepperoni added. Yes, pepperoni. And they use real cheese slices(as opposed to «whiz» like a certain racist place in Philly does).

Tried this place 2 different times and it was horrible both times. When they first came to the area he stated that he had one in Philly as well. I have yet to find it… Anyway this is not even close to your philly cheese steak Stay clear

Shared a cheesesteak: the big mama’s special(with peppers and pepperoni) along with a Greek salad. The cheesesteak was very good and the salad was loaded with tomatoes and very good feta. Service was great and we had a nice chat with the owner. #sbroadtrip2013

That’s a lot of meat and cheese, for not a lot of money. Friendly family owned, and local as all get out. A few stools by the window to sit and eat, and they do take cards. Pretty simple stuff.

Stopped in tonight cause I had the urge for a good cheesesteak. Talk about service with a smile. Dealing with them was very pleasurable. Other Businesses should visit and take note. The hoagie bun, meat and cheese was delicious and I would say the best in town by far. The only thing keeping them from a 5 star rating is the fact that I have have enjoyed a vinces cheesesteak which I believe is the current title holder. I will be going back to test some other menu items. I would recommend this to friend and family.

Looking for a tasty cheesesteak in nepa? Angelo’s is where it’s at! They do not hold back on the meat and all of the ingredients have a fresh taste(roll, meat, cheese, and veggies). From what I saw they do accept major credit cards.
