Atmosphere was great on a Friday night. I ordered the grilled octopus and my dish was the best from my table. Other entrees were a bit bland.

The food was good and the service was excellent at the bar but then the band started and there’s no place in the restaurant where you can talk or even hear yourself think. It gets louder by the minute. Dinner took forever to come and between the headache and the need to be free of the place I didn’t get to enjoy it.

Excellent food and service. I will be putting this in the mix. Food is fresh and the sangria is definitely recommended.

I never write posts but I REALLY enjoyed coming here tonight. It was quiet and relaxing… no need to dress. The food was delicious and the service wonderful. It is located in the Holiday Inn complex. You really need to try it.

Went for dinner as a last resort since all of the popular Portuguese places were booked on a Saturday night. Cool atmosphere. More modern than other Portuguese places in the area; despite it being in the holiday inn. Service was great until dessert. It seemed they forgot about us once they put coffee on the table. Had to get another server to grab our check. Red sangria was delicious! Huge pitcher. Mussels appetizer fantastic!(Especially to dip bread in) Garlic shrimp app average at best. I’ve had a lot better. Chorizo appetizer good! we got the paella. I like how they put chicken chorizo and seafood as opposed to just land or sea paella. A lot of food. A little too buttery for my taste but I still enjoyed it. Dad got shrimp piri piri– spicey. Great amount of shrimp. He couldn’t finish it and he never leaves an empty dish. Piccadillo was also good. My favorite part of the meal was cappuccino(literally a soup bowl sized cup) and the churros dessert. We also got vanilla ice cream on the side –fantastic! Overall good meal! Didn’t blow me away as much as El Cid in north jersey or Rio Mar, but another great option if you’re in the mood for Portuguese!

We had a great night. The live band played up to date music and the Dj was really playing for the crowd. The sangria was pretty good. We had red sangria pitcher. It had plenty of fruit and the pitcher was pretty big. It was intended for only two but at the end it turned to four. That’s how big the pitcher was. We had ordered mushrooms sautéed in garlic with fried egg in a cute pot. It was soooo good. I would drive there just for this dish. We danced the whole entire night. The dance floor is big enough to have a comfortable crowd dancing and not feel ppl bumping into you. I would recommend trying Tapeo. You will get hooked. Another great night we closed the place down.

Food was good and the menu has some cool options. Biggest downside was the service! It did not seem like the wait staff had assigned tables. The Matt Damon looking waiter was running all around doing everything and every waiter/the manager cane to service us. For the price, I would not return. There are other tapas restaurants within the same price range with much better service and equally as good if not better food.

People are to harsh on this spot. Best night is Friday’s if your looking for a different vibe and chill as a couple or ladies night ONLY. Other then that go there any day for quality food. This area needs this type spot.

Horrible. Bread was stale, soda was flat, appetizers were cold, steak was funny tasting, waiter was an idiot… And they neglected to take the Unilocal 15% discount off the check. We won’t be coming back

Extremely disappointed. I’ve been waiting to try this place since it opened and I’m sorry to say it was really not good. To start our server was inattentive and not helpful when I asked about recommendations, he essentially said everything was good. The bread was stale. We ordered the calamari appetizer which looked great but was room temperature and too chewy. I had the pan seared sea scallops which were ok but soggy from the vegetables they covered them with. My husband had the strip steak which really had no flavor other than the taste of being previously frozen. The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because the sangria was decent and the host was very friendly and tried to be accommodating when our waiter neglected to bring us the refills we ordered.

I enjoy this bar/food venue. Drew works weekends and is super friendly and swift with orders. This venue is much fancier than you would expect from a hotel restaurant. I recommend the chicken wings or mushroom on bread appetizer. I enjoy sitting at the bar it’s more peaceful than other bars you might go to. Check out the local sports game on their tv’s.

To start, the place was way too warm. The waiter placed bread on the table that was stale and sour. There were four of us. We ordered the paiella, cheeseburger, coconut shrimp and garlic chicken. I made the mistake of ordering the garlic chicken. I was served 8 buffalo wings over French fries for $ 24. And there was no garlic. Others said there food was good but that was irrelevant to me. Won’t see me again.

I was very excited for a new Portuguese/tapas place close by but Tapeo was a huge let down. Food was good and they had some interesting stuff on the menu but the service was a disaster. We had no waiter for at least 20 minutes and this was after our hour long wait. If they could figure out wait times and get their service better coordinated this could be a great place.

Prices are expensive for the quality…(Food tasted delicious). I ordered a glass of wine, the waiter brought over a bottle. Had to clarify. Then I given a glass of red, already poured but tasted rancid. After saying something, manager opened a fresh bottle of another kind. This one was very good. Normally I only have one glass, but I couldn’t pass up a second glass. Well, then I was given an already poured glass and tasted and smelled like first. Two times I asked if this was the second wine and told yes. Third time, because this glass was unpalatable I insisted to check. Then they brought the bottle back, and well that glass was better and matched what I had enjoyed. So I am convinced they tried to pull a fast one on me. Which, although they made good on it, I don’t like being lied to. We were here to see the comedy show. One comedian used every foul word in the book and just one insulting thing after the other, none of it being funny. Thankfully the other three comedians and host was much better.

I came here three weeks ago with my girlfriend. She wanted to try it and we decided to go. The style is very interesting but not as comfortable. The worst part was the terrible service and food. It took them a while to get our waiter, I had to call them! Once he came they ran out of Red sangria and we got White sangria which turned out to be the highlight of the night, it was very good. We asked the waiter if the«Paella» was big enough for two people, he said yes. We got the Paella, shrimp garlic and Potatoes to share and I specifically told them not to put clams and if they could add more chicken or chorizo instead, they couldn’t accommodate but they brought our Paella with clams. Usually at most restaurants they can add or substitute certain things such as my previous request. The Paella was super small for two people, I was surprised because our waiter had told us that it would be enough for two. The potatoes were weird, until I realized they were not cooked properly. I also saw three other people complaining and one couple actually had the owner sit down on his table to complain and personally tell him how bad everything was. Last, my meal came out to $ 95USD for two appetizers, a good small sangria and a terrible small paella! Overpriced, terrible service, bad quality. It was my first time and my last at this place.

Who would have thought such an amazing restaurant could be hiding next to the Holiday Inn. First of all, the place looks great. Very modern décor with cool Spanish artwork lining the walls. More importantly, the food is phenomenal. We just went with a meal of tapas plates for our dinner because we love to try everything. The plates are a little more expensive than normal tapas, but they are also bigger than usual so they could be used as appetizers as well. Our favorites were the shrimp and garlic, the chorizo in a red wine reduction, and the patatas bravas. Don’t skip the churro for dessert either! Even if you hate great food, you should still stop by to have a conversation with the owner, Tony, about his cooking school in Barcelona. He is one of the nicest restaurant owners I have ever met and answered every question my party had both about the restaurant and the food. All the passion put into this place can truly be tasted.
