Jersey Mike’s Subs

Very quick and friendly service. This location has a large, clean dining area with two televisions. I got a turkey wrap and my husband got an Italian sandwich. Both were very simple but had good quality deli ingredients. I wish Jersey Mike’s was located closer to our house.

Friendly people with great service. The staff is friendly and the inside is very clean. Great experience every time I go.

Place is great, staff is friendly and even a few of the staff are Rangers fans. Hell yes! LGR.

Every employee at Jersey Mike’s is happy. You walk in and you get greeted, you get to the counter and you get a warm welcome, you pay and they’re happy. What a JOY!!! They make your sandwich correctly every time. More importantly they remember you when you arrive, order and leaving. I love this place. There are other places in the area (saladworks to name one…) that should send their employees/​managers/​owners to Jersey Mike’s for training on how to treat and greet customers. Thumbs up to the program and how to make it work.

This sub shop definitely deserves five stars! Our subs were so fresh and the cold cuts were sliced right on the spot. We had the #13 (the Italian) and #43 (chipotle chicken cheese steak). The 13 was amazing, and the assortment of the many meats went together perfectly. Now for the 43. This was probably the best cheese steak I’ve had from a sub shop. The atmosphere made me feel like I was taking a stroll on Jersey Shore’s finest boardwalk. I would definitely recommend this sub shop if your looking for a tasty treat! Also, I woult recommend getting your cold sub Mike’s way.

A great sub shop. Yes its a chain, but it’s not over stylized or trying too hard. It’s a back-​to-​basics sub shop. Period. They have most of your standard staples; hot subs, cold subs, wraps, etc… Their board gives you a few pre-​determined options or you can make your own. We stopped in to order some subs for a quick lunch and it was definitely the right place to stop. There are two lines in here and plenty of people behind the counter so everything moves quickly. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. The food is fresh and the prices are reasonable. A definite if you’re looking for a good sandwich.

Just stopped in for the first time today. The staff was awesome. They were helpful and super friendly! I got the tuna sub and the only issue was that i didn’t get a bigger sub! After eating here, i made a Unilocal account to help spread the word! Def stop in.

You can call them hoagies, hero’s, or grinders, but here in Jersey we call them subs. And one of the best is Jersey Mike’s. A growing local institution; the newest outlet is located in the Kohl’s shopping center in Hazlet (where Game Stop used to be).
What can I say about it? Staff was super friendly. You could see the growing pains as they get use to their stations and handling a lunch time crowd (I have no doubt this will improve with experience).
There are a number (literally…I get the #9 Roast Beef, Turkey, and Bacon) of different hot and cold subs you can choose from or you can customize. Prices are based on size (there are three: Mini is 5″ long, a Regular is 7″ and a Giant is 14−15″) and ingredients. Unlike a Subway the meats are sliced fresh in front of you. They also have wraps and «Subs in a Tub» which is all the ingredients of the sub just without the bun.
Sides are limited though… you’ve got a cookie, a brownie, or a bag of chips and that’s it (not even a crummy attempt at a mayo based salad e.g. potato, cole, or mac) and for that I deduct one star.
All in all a solid, tasty sandwich at a reasonable price.
