Theodoro bakery sells crap. They overbake their goods and put them in freezers until they need them. They wipe dates on their products and put new dates in on any overages they have so they don’t have to report«stales.» They work their drivers 15 – 17 hours a day and they pay on commission only — no overtime. Ever. Their trucks have bald tires and every single one of them have something that doesn’t work. They do not comply with DOTORDOL regulations. The management is incompetent and unrealistic regarding their status in the St. Louis community. They had a great opportunity to pick up the Hostess slack but they had no idea how to go about it. They do not pay their bills on time or at all, but send their drivers to demand payments when a client is late. If you are ATALL considering using Theodoro Bakery for your restaurant/catering business, be warned. Contact Flowers Bakeries instead.
