Groan!!!
I’m a big fan of QT but this location really torqued me tonight.
Filled the tank on the wife’s car after the ISC. The lanes by their diesel pumps were pretty cruddy looking so I probably should not have been surprised when I lifted the diesel nozzle and got a messy hand to thank me for patronizing this location. I wiped it off then went to look at the other diesel pumps to see if it was the luck of the draw. Nope, their pumps are just simply filthy. This issue can easily be attributed to sloppy customers but it is incumbent upon the business to police up the messes they encounter. If they are cleaning (not clear) they need to up their game. If they are not cleaning, they need to start.
Worth noting, my lead-​footed wife achieved about 39 mpg on her last tank. Diesel is a great fuel but encounters like this are unpleasant.
