The worse. Hubby took the boys there and rented bikes. Had flat tire on one and hubby had to put the tube on his own. Still went flat and the mechanic came out took tire off replaced tubed then tired sending my kids back out when he only hand tightened the bolts. Tires had bad bald spots. The floors are completely dirty dusty which makes for a very slick ride. My kids are really experienced but not a places for any beginners.

RAMPCAMP — NOSUPERVISION! This isn’t really a supervised camp so don’t think your kids are in a secure camp environment. Had my 10yo at Ramp Camp(7⁄2011), and there was no security or supervision. It’s open to the public the entire day, and people are always coming and going. Even more frightening, on the first day of «camp», my husband arrived to pick up our son, and he just walked out with him. No one noticed, no one stopped him to make sure our son was leaving with a parent!!! My husband purposely walked our son all the way out into the mall, just to see what would happen, and then he turned around and went back in. He stood at the counter for several minutes before a staff member emerged from the back room so he could sign out our kiddo. Signing him in and out, which was supposed to be required, was sporadic at best. Each morning I was told that it wasn’t necessary and by Wednesday, the staff member criticized my request by saying that I was the only parent who asked to sign the sheet. Wow, I guess the guy was trying to tell me that since the other parents didn’t care, then I shouldn’t care either. LOL! I don’t think they understand that when you run a «camp», you are ensuring the safety of the kids and accepting responsibility. So when I sign him in and out, I’m starting and ending your daily responsibility for the safety of my kid, knuckleheads! That’s why I’m paying you $ 185 bucks for the week!!! The very definition of summer camp is, «A site where care and activities are provided for children during the summer months.» So… they got the activities part down. Here’s what the site stated about the schedule: «Camp will start everyday at 9am. Campers may be dropped off as early as 8am at no additional charge. Drop off as early as 7am is available for an additional $ 40 a week per camper. Camp will end at 2:15pm everyday but all campers are welcome to stay for the 2:30 — 4:30pm park session at no extra charge, camp staff will remain on hand for supervision» NOTTRUE! We found on the very first day that the camp staff left at 2:30 and there was only one«adult» around to keep an eye on the kids and the store and the cash register… So the rest of the week, we made work arrangements so we could be there right at 2:30. Oh, and the site says I’m supposed to sign a liability waiver in front of a staff member or a notary public… no one every asked me to sign a waiver. I’ll bet their insurance carrier will LOVE hearing this! RAMPCAMP — FALSEADVERTISING! The Web site says that your child will be taught by the famous Casey Otto. He was never there. The skateboard«instructor» was only 14 and didn’t even show up the first day, so the skateboarders just jacked around all day. The«instructor» didn’t do any progression skill work with my son, as advertised. And the final day«showcase», where the kids get to show off what they’ve learned, my kid was doing the same skills he could do at the beginning of the week. I didn’t expect Tony Hawk but I expected a little improvement, since he was getting all of this great instruction. He’s a beginner and practices all the time. But he said the«instructor» didn’t really work with him, as advertised. The site also says they go over to Nascar Speedpark for additional activities. They only went over to the Speedpark to eat lunch and never got to enjoy those advertised amenities. All in all, my kiddo was very disappointed in his«progress» and he said he was bored much of the time. So safety conscious parents beware! Great skatepark, crummy camp!
