I wish I could give 0 stars. Proceed with EXTREME caution before patronizing this business. The owner is Valerie. I highly recommend finding another spa. I purchased a Groupon and the location of the spa was a few blocks from my home. It took 11 months for me to make an appointment to use the Groupon and in that time the spa had moved. The new location was approximately 20 minutes from my home. I had to leave 3 messages prior to being able to make an appointment. The phone is NEVER answered which is unusual for a spa. I have been pampered at spas for 20 years and this has never happened before. I made an appointment for a Saturday and also got directions. I drove to the address I was given and immediately thought I was in the wrong place. I called and left a message. I waited 5 more minutes and called again, leaving another message. I was feeling very uncomfortable. I called a third time and while was leaving a message, Valerie called. She was very annoyed that I had called and told me she doesn’t have a receptionist and she is working. I explained that I could not find the building. She put me on hold for 3 – 4 minutes. She got back on the phone and gave me directions to the exact building that I had been to originally. I could not imagine that the old, abandoned looking building was a spa. I was getting ready to ask Valerie a question and before she abruptly hung up on me said, «I am working and have to go. I’ll meet you out front.» A spa? really? At this point, I was beyond uncomfortable, but decided to follow through so I could give a full report to Groupon. I pulled up to the abandoned looking building and very cautiously walked inside. As I entered the front door, I saw two people watching the Whitney Houston funeral and they did not acknowledge me. After 2 minutes, one man asked if there was something I needed. I explained that I was there to get a facial. He asked if I was there to see Valerie. I told him the name of the business listed on the Groupon. He told me I could walk down the hall and knock on Suite 300 door, so I did. The door abruptly opened and Valerie spoke in an annoyed, inappropriate tone, «Jacqui, I will be with you in a minute.» She slammed the door in my face. I walked straight to my car and never looked back. Valerie never contacted me. This was a very scary experience. Aside from that, Valerie does not know the meaning of or care about customer service. My money was reimbursed from Groupon, without any questions.
