Wow, what a refreshing experience working with a sound company. Bob is a true professional, with very prompt and timely communications, even when he was out on another job. Travis, the sound tech, arrived exactly on time to our boat party, and was fast setting up, quick to help debug problems with the electrical power from the boat, and even wore a wig with the theme of the party. An absolute pleasure working with both of them. Highly recommended.

I recently got to work with Bob & Sound Wizard Productions for the 26^th Annual Jewish Music Festival. He and his company is top shelf. His friendly and professional demeanor instills confindence in the artists. Bob mixed the show flawlessly, especially considering that we had minimum sound checks with each artist. What can I say about Bob and the fine folks at SoundWizard — absolutely recommend! We hired them to produce live sound for our agency’s holiday party a week ago.
Bob was terrific in all the areas I appreciate:
— He was great at communication, always responding to emails promptly and always answered his phone.
— No attitude. He was friendly and pleasurable to work with — didn’t make me feel like I was a small-​potatoes operation, even though our job was on the smaller side of what’s he’s capable of, I’m sure.
— He was fairly priced — he honored an estimate/​bid we had gotten over a year ago — and stuck to it. That’s a man of integrity.
— He executed without a hitch or glitch — He knew his sh*t and the production looked and sounded outstanding.
— Oh, and he gave us a recording of the set. How cool is that?

My band was hired to do a formal gala event at the Four Seasons hotel in San Francisco. Sound Wizard was hired to do sound at the event. Bob and his small crew did an excellent job running sound in the ballroom.
He had more than enough high quality gear (mics, stands, monitors, speakers, mixing board, etc) to do sound for the speakers to address the crowd and the band to play. He got a very nice sound on stage without being too loud and a clear, well eq’d sound throughout the ballroom at the perfect level.
Bob was very accomodating and easy to work with (not grumpy) as well as prompt and stress free. Definitely the type of sound operation musicians appreciate working with.

We just wanted an iPod for our wedding and Bob provided the PERFECT solution: he sets up the equipment with your laptop or iPod and comes back afterward to break it down.
So, we had a sound system for our ceremony and reception for a fraction of the cost of hiring a professional DJ!
Sound Wizard can do the whole shebang if you need that, too, but we didn’t, and I really appreciate that Bob never tried to upsell us.
