Conveniently located on Mission Blvd. between Fremont and Hayward, Sonic is not a bad place to pick up some fast food. My usual order: Oreo milkshake(definitely better than Jack in the Box’s) and two corn dogs. Sometimes instead of a burger, you got to have a corn dog. And this is the place to get some!

First time trying Sonic. Food came out good and super fast. I ordered the Chicago dog, family size chili cheese tots, and strawberry cheesecake shake. Besides the shake, I’d definitely rather spend cheat days on In-n-out. Was worth a try though. Minus one star for the girl that took my order. I think it was the same one that was cashier as well, but she was way more friendly when I got to the window. She sounded hella grumpy at the drive-thru speaker, most likely because the place was busy busy busy… But still.

So I called right now to speak with the manager because I’m tired of these kids fucking up my order and bad service. This used to be my favorite place and I called twice to speak with the manager and they hanged up on me twice. Is there a higher up I may contact? And yet here they’re fighting for 15 $ an hour? Fuck out of here.

Service is okay. They’re quick but seemed tense. Came here with friends to get food and drinks for a game. I ordered a mozzarella sticks and was satisfied with it especially since it came out fast and had ton of ranch! My friend ordered a blueberry jolly rancher drink and it looked super sweet! I would recommend people try this place at least once in their lifetime. I will be back here soon when I am craving something sweet to drink!

Me and my girlfriend have been blessed in a sense… By the Sonic gods. We happen to live right down the street about a two minute drive. We have now been to sonic about 5 or 6 times and every time is about the same. Now typically when you go to sonic you have two choices. One being the drive through line, the other being parking and ordering through a wall of food and servers skate out to you and bring you your food. When ever we do the drive though or the parking method, the wait time is about the same. Now one surprising thing is the Sonic Park and eat closes much earlier than you would think. Alot of the time when we go around 1015 and wait in the drive through line, people regularly pull up and park at a stall… Than when they are ready to order they press the button and the person inside tells them«sorry were only doing drive through orders now». So that Is a flaw in the system in my opinion… Making people think the stalls are open when they are not. Oh well… Great fast food either way

I went here to order a half off shake. The place was busy, but got my order within 10 minutes of waiting. I ordered the toffee cake which ended up being $ 2.50, but $ 3 dollars for the tip since the girl that gave me the shake said they would be back with the change. The intercom was okay. The shake was very good and would highly recommend doing so. Can not wait to come back here on tax day for half off burgers.

The worst shit ever! Where is the option of 0 stars! Went through drive thru and my food was done and the guy grabs the bag and puts down and has me waiting literally 5 – 7 minutes and Im assuming he’s waiting for something else. While I’m waiting I can see my bag and he’s talking to his co-workers after 5 – 7 mins of b.s. he turns grabs the bag and hands it to me and said, sauce? I was furious! I told him give me my money back! What the hell is wrong with people, the nerve! And manager didn’t give a fuck! So long Sonic, I need to stay on track with good eating habits, anyway. However, your customer service sucks! Never had an issue with the stall, they are mostly on task. Is it because, the get paid more? Yes, no thanks!

This place is a solid burger join that differs from others. The burgers are flavorful and juicy. The chicken tenders are very tasty as well as the fries and tater tots. I really enjoy the ice in my soda, soft and comfortable to chew on. The shakes are really good and many different choices to add in. Ordering in the drive thru or in the parking lot was fairly fast despite how busy it was. I will be back again to enduldge in some classic American food.

This was my first time at this particular sonic drive thru. I’ve never been a huge huge fan of sonic but this was on the way back home so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a regular cheeseburger and fries. Ordering was quick and easy and the food came within 10 – 15 minutes of ordering it — if that. The quality is nothing crazy or special but it reminded me a lot of in n out burgers. The fries were decent and hot when I got them. Over all good decent food, affordable, good and quick customer service. Would I return? I wouldn’t go out of my way to return but I would tell people to try it out if it’s their thing. The milkshakes here are really good too as I have tried it at another sonic location. Check this place out if you haven’t already.

Visited last week after a long time. Had the double cheese burger … the first meaty, cheesy bite reminded me of Jack’s ultimate cheeseburger. Well, how they used to taste! Most excellent cheese burger! Tater tots rock! Much better since my last review. Heard that they are offering corn dogs for 50 cents all day today! Got 2 corn dogs and the Island Fire boneless wings. The drive-thru line was long but they did a great job moving the line by using the car hops! Well done Sonic! The Island Fire boneless wings are good! Spicy & sweet! The corn dogs are awesome as well!

I should have known my order would be terrible when they gave me fries when I ordered tots! My toaster sandwich was basically a sloppy joe. I will not be returning to this Sonic.

Very quick service! Food was like most fast food, good enough to eat… When it come to the milkshakes BYOS(bring your own straw) LOL, there is no way you’ll be getting any milkshake through the straws they give you, at least not for 20+ minutes! Bathroom was disgusting and was definitely in need of some attention.

America’s drive-in for sure. I might not get out much, but this is the only fast food place I know of that serves tatter tots in substitution for fries and pulls it off nicely! How awesome is that. Known for their tots and slushies… and their drive-in style, Sonic makes eating unhealthy feel really good. I’m happy we have this location… and I’m happy there is one in Tracy because that might be a little closer to my hoooood. I ordered the number 1 which is a regular cheeseburger with tots and a drink(for a little extra I got the strawberry slushy). After a long day of hiking and being active, this meal definitely hit the spot. The burger tastes fresh with soft and warm buns. meat patty somewhat thicker than a normal burger and melted cheese. I’m not a big fan of pickles but I could tolerate them in this burger. And the tatter tots just made the entire meal. Closing off with those babies put my tummy in a happy place! The strawberry slushy had just the right amount of sweetness.

I loathe the commercials for Sonic(the characters in them are overly silly and have absolutely no life), but I like the chain in general. I’m docking a star, though, because Sonic serves what I would call B-level food(the quality isn’t quite there). There are also some small issues with this location. My wife and I went here yesterday afternoon. Our total was $ 25.80. (It took us a good minute to order.) I wish you didn’t have to order through an intercom. My orders are usually a little wrong(this time, my burger wasn’t the way I wanted it). Anyway, our order taker was friendly, but she didn’t inspire confidence. I very quickly felt the need to speak louder and slower. I heard«Okay» a lot after that(our order taker was clearly in a hurry). Our carhop was better. The guy was very chill. He was also quick to give us some ketchup and our change(he seemed startled when I gave him $ 40– I felt rich for a second). Another carhop skated around like her life was over. Maybe she had the malt shop blues. There are only 2 intercoms for walk-up customers. There should really be 4. In addition, one of the intercoms wasn’t working yesterday. There was a small sign, but this caused some delays and confusion. There should be more staff members. This place is popular, and orders are often processed slowly(this was even the case yesterday even though there weren’t very many customers). : I like the tables okay, but it can be windy and cold outside. I think that’s partly why most customers park in the stalls or use the drive-thru. Note: All prices include tax. : Tots: 9⁄10. A Medium gives you about 15. Our Tots were cooked well and a tad spicy. (My wife and I both wanted Tots. I was almost as excited about mine as when I make a trip to the titty bar.) : Green Apple Slush: 8.25÷10. I enjoyed mine, but the Grape Slush that I had years ago was a lot better. (I should have ordered a Large. I forgot that the cups here are kind of small.) My wife’s root beer was watery. The ice used here also doesn’t keep soft drinks very cold. : Bacon Double Cheddar Croissant Dog($ 3.84): 7⁄10. The«soft roll» more or less tasted like a croissant. The cheddar cheese was also fine. There could have been more bacon bits. The hot dog was also average in taste. Oscar Mayer came to mind. That’s not good. (My mom finds the quality of the hot dogs to be lacking too. She only tolerates them because the ones she orders are loaded with toppings.) : Breakfast Toaster($ 3.29): 8.25÷10. My eggs and cheese were pretty good, and my sausage patty was big and not too greasy. I’m not crazy about their Texas Toast(it’s hard to explain, but it basically overshadows everything else). Still, a Breakfast Toaster is one of the best things to order at Sonic. : SuperSONIC Bacon Double Cheeseburger: 8⁄10. I added some mayo to mine. Anyway, my bacon strips were tasty but somewhat fatty. My American cheese was solid. The patties are wide, but thin. They taste fine, but they’re not on par with the burgers at many other chains. (Because of the cheese, the tops of the buns seem to be glued on. The SONIC Cheeseburger pic shows the hole that I poked in my wife’s bun.) This is the only Sonic nearby. I’m a fan overall, but I would never go here more than every now and then.

This is probably the only Sonic within a thirty mile radius from Hayward. When this place opened up when I was in high school it was a hot spot that everyone would go to. I thought it was a fad, but surprisingly this place is still always crowded and almost every stall is taken. Especially at night. This is the usual sonic where you can either drive through, sit at the tables are sit in your car and order and the servers will come on roller skates. It’s a really fun experience. This place as an extensive menu in terms of drinks. They have a ton of flavors for each their drinks(slushes, candy slushes, real fruit slushes, shakes, malts, etc.) and they even let you combine flavors so the flavor possibilities are endless and even the type of drink. Their drinks are really good and they come in different sizes. They also have different desserts with ice cream. There aren’t many ice cream flavors, but that’s okay because you can just get it in a shake form and have practically any flavor you can think of. Their food here is typical fast food style. I really enjoy their chili cheese tater tots with ranch! I’ll admit that their food here is pretty pricey so most of the time I just stick to drinks. They lose a star because one time I went at 11 and they said they were only doing drive through service and not stall service. The line was ridiculously long and the place wasn’t closing until midnight so I didn’t really understand why they did that. It wasn’t posted anywhere that they stop doing park/stall service. I ended up just leaving. This really should be made clear. Overall, I’ll come here once in a while and it’s worth it to come here.

The kids love this place. I’ve gotten used to the location even though it’s pretty far from the freeway. The kids love the different type of hot dogs, slushies, and shakes. Slushies with Nerds or Popping Candy.(Pop Rocks?) The Grillled Chicken is pretty good too. I give it a +1 for the Shakes and Slushies. In the summer this place is awesome. +1 for the way you order it’s pretty convenient and you get to watch their skating skills. +1 For all the different types of sides.(Fries, Onion Rings, Jalapeño Poppers, and Tater Tots man) +1 For having Hot dogs, Chicken, and Burgers. +1 For being basically the Only Sonic in the area. So you really have no choice so don’t hate.

I live 30−45min away from this place, and every time I come here I am never disappointed. The slushes are good on a hot day, the shakes are good too but are a little too sweet for my taste. They also have a wide variety of favors too. The menu is vast and vary from hotdogs to burgers. And prices are all reasonable. They also bring your food out on rollerblades which is pretty cool, too. Definitely a spot to try out.

TOTS were the BOMB! I always saw commercials about this place and heard about this place, but never tried it. Yay… finally got to try it out. I was craving tots atm. I got here around 11pm, and only the drive-thru was open. I was hoping that people would roller skate my food out. but that’s okay. I ordered their tots and their peanut butter waffle ice cream! It was so good, the ice cream waffle is a MUST have! The ice cream was really creamy and it had legit peanut butter crumble. The tots were really good too, not too oily, just crispy enough for my liking. My boyfriend got their chicken club toaster sandwich. The sandwich definitely did not look like their photo on the menu. The bread was not toasted and it was soggy. But the sandwich was still really good, there was a lot of flavor. Lets just say everything tasted really good because I was super hungry… this was good FASTFOOD! Loved those tots! ;P

Craving a meal frequently enjoyed during the college years, we made our way to Sonic. ***SUPERSONICJALAPEÑODOUBLECHEESEBURGER Frankly I’m not sure that what I got was actually the SuperSonic Jalapeño Double Cheeseburger. I didn’t see it on the menu, so I got a double cheeseburger and added spicy jalapeños. The patty was dry & juiceless, like it had been sitting in the heater tray for a few hours. There were about two or three jalapeños, which was a bummer. The bun, lettuce, tomato, & cheese were cheaply manufactured and uninspired. ***ONIONRINGS First of all let’s get this straight – onion rings are superior to fries in all ways. These are pretty good onion rings, the batter is slightly sweet and doesn’t taste like breadcrumbs, more smooth and lightly golden. I approve. ***BANANACREMEPIESHAKE Pretty darn good I have to admit. Nice chunks of banana just small enough to fit through the straw. Yummy custard flavor and some pie crust chunks. Very sweet, but it hit the spot. ALLINALL: The onion rings and shake held their own, but the burger paled in comparison to my recollection of Sonic ten years past. But hey, that was in a different state, and in a different phase of my life. Innocence lost.
