I tasted pretty much ALL of their delicious sandwiches, so I have a pretty good idea what I like! Their Philly Cheesesteak, they claim is #1, i believe this. the meat is juicy, seasoned well and very melty american cheese. I like the fact that the bread is moist, fluffy and not hard when it comes out of the microwave — very conveinent! I also like the fact that there is no grilled onions nor peppers, cuz i hate veggies. I had the roast beef bacon and cheddar as well. the roast beef is seasoned very nicely, the cheese is very cheddary and gooey(better than that Velveta stuff), and very real bacon. The pastrami is to die for… lean and tender, very well seasoned with black pepper on the crust of the meat, and that melt in the mouth tenderness and flavor — there’s dijon mustard on there, i wish it was yellow mustard instead, but it still was delicious and the bread was light and fuffy out of the microwave. I don’t know how they do that. I also had their chicken bacon ranch sandwich — there is a lot of chunks of white chicken, seasoned very well with a ranch sauce, very creamy and bacony. Their pulled pork is very tender and the bbq sauce is very tangy, smokey and sweet, just the way i like it — this is a very tasty sandwich. I found the Ham and Swiss at Costco, it was very very good, smoky tender ham, melted swiss cheese and whole grain mustard — it was on a pretzel roll that was ultimately delicious. this is the real deal sandwiches…5 thumbs up! yummo!

Their quality control is for crap. I stopped buying a «New York» sandwich when I found out they were in California. Remember the Pace Picante commercial. Having been in the pizza and sandwich business before my current career. I know the simplest rule of making a sandwich… spread the meat out… This place has the audacity to include the word«quality» in their name… Thats a crock… The closest thing to quality they have, are things bought from other vendors… The ONLY reason I bought one of their crap sandwiches, was because I had a friend over that wanted one, and I bought them 2 and had one left over. I opened it and there was 3.5 full fingers of just bread on one side, with no meat. I had contacted them before about the same issue. The woman had sounded concerned, but i can tell it was smoke being blown up my mudwhistle. She said«oh we take pride in our offerings» she asked if I would send a picture so they can improve their quality control. Im NOT going to go out of my way to help them improve, they should know it by themselves. I am going to be sending this to her via e mail and posting this all over the web. That way as thri pocketbooks start hurting and they start laying people off and go out of business, they learn HOW to make a god sandwich… Its too bad they will only be getting them from the soup kitchens by then.
