This place is the best. We come here for breakfast (sandwiches on bagels or croissants) and for dinner (only open Thursday and Friday nights). The grilled salmon is really special and the burgers, chicken and tri-​tip are all excellent. This is a family-​run business and the owners treat the customers like good friends. It’s a great neighborhood joint.

They have awesome BBQ Tues-​Fri and even Dinner Thursday & Friday night with amazing Tri-​Tip, Salmon, Steaks, Burgers.
During the day it’s great for a refreshing drink and Sandwich or salad.

Great place, friendly people and relaxed atmosphere. Oh and the owners are nice too! I especially like their Thurs/​Friday night BBQ. I have never had a bad experience at Pearls. I would recommend this place to any one looking for a place to each on a Thur/​Fri night. TRi tip, linguica sandwiches, Chicken … Everything has been good. Their side salad has dried cranberries. I don’t like cranberries, but I like their salad.

Very happy that Pearl’s is in my neighborhood. It’s a great spot to get coffee/​breakfast items, the lunch sandwiches are solid, and their dinners are my favorite.
They were not open consistently for dinner under their old name (Café Caribe), but now the hours seem to have stabilized. If you haven’t checked it out in a while, come back. They’re always open on Thursday and Friday nights for dinner. I’ve also seen them open on Saturday/​Sunday nights for sports games, but I don’t think they’re open every weekend. Lots of folks from the neighborhood come by to watch and eat together.
On the dinner menu is chicken, tri-​tip and salmon. Each meat comes with your choice of rice/​potatoes, salad and a King’s Hawaiian roll. They also have salads instead of the meal combo. I usually get the Naylan’s salad with cranberries, pecans and goat cheese. I’ve tried all the meats, my favorite is the chicken, but they’re all yummy. They use tasty, flavorful marinades on the meat. They give pretty big portions and it’s a good value. It’s perfect for when we don’t want to cook (which is like, always)!

All about supporting the local home grown venues. My husband has never wanted to try chai before. Gave him a sip of mine and he is now a fan.
The husband and wife who own the place are so sweet and down to earth! Wonderful place! Check it out.

Food is good. Nice ppl. But why is there only one person working during busy times? Also, they refuse to write your order down so be prepared to tell them what you want at least twice… and then start eating and realize they got your order WRONG. or they didnt make ur drink order so now uve got to cancel it cause ur finished eating and have 2 go. Everytime i go thru this i tell myself to go on Unilocal and never return. but i couldnt. Finally 2day i decided to stop by b4 heading home. I was starving but exhausted so i was gonna stop by to get some food close 2 home. well guess what. They decided theyre closed today. Theyve done this 2 me before. ive given them many chances but ive had it.

Awesome ice mocha and sandwhiches!
I can really appreciate this family run business. The ice mocha they make is one of the best I have ever had, its very tasty. Must try. In addition they make some awesome sandwhiches that are loaded with meat for a very fair price. They also serve bbq food a few days a week. The family that owns and runs this place and very friendly people and take care their customers.
They have internet so you can lounge and work. Keep up the good work guys.

Who would have thought that a café would serve dinner? And great dinner at that! We just recently moved to the area and it’s nice to have a café that serves dinner three nights a week. (Thursday-​Saturday, the nights when we’re typically the laziest and don’t wanna cook!) We got the tri tip and chicken and they were both delish! The meal comes with potato salad or rice, salad and a roll, but not just any roll, a hawaiian kings roll! (That just makes it even better!) Aside from the dinner, they have the usual café drinks plus boba! I’ve gotten their Coffee Island Freeze and it was perfect. Not too sweet or milky. The people who work here are pretty nice too and seem to definitely love their job! This will definitely be one of our go to places!

Love this café, been coming here since 2007! The staff and owner are all so friendly and welcoming. I ALWAYS order their iced soy chai tea lattes, it is ridiculously good! Added plus is supporting your local businesses :)

This place is Bomb-​diggity.
The breakfast bagel is 4 bucks and the croissant sandwich is 5 dollars. Both have egg cheese, and a choice of ham, bacon, or sausage. It definitely hit the spot.
There’s also a limited time deal where pearl drinks are 2.25. WHAT A DEAL! I think they’re currying up boba drinkers before the quickly opens up next door. Let me tell you, as a self proclaimed milk tea expert, their milk tea is AWESOME. I definitely got some love out of the drink today. The perfect amount of sweetness if only achieved by a master of pearl drinks. There were no pearls today but I still wanted to check out the drink and he took off .25 cents. A milk tea for 2 bucks? It’s like i’m in the motherland!
I CANNOT wait for tri-​tip dinners which i hear is not to be missed. It’s in the evenings of Wed, Thurs, and Friday.
I should have taken advantage of more of the drinks here because they have a LOT to offer from smoothies, peppermint mochas, to vietnamese coffee. Best part? Tax is included in the price. I love paying exactly what I’m charged.
Great staff and excellent cozy place. I hope to become a regular soon!

I lovveeee this café! I work right down the street and it’s a quick and convenient place for me to grab breakfast in the morning.
Pearl (the owner) and her husband are very friendly people. Pearl, who I see most of the mornings, is very good about always remembering my favorite, a croissant sandwich with turkey, egg and cheese ($ 5). And she always asks me how I’m doing and stirring up a little convo with me while I wait on my food.
Sometimes I’m in a rush and I might get a donut which is just a $ 1 or a muffin ($ 2). And a lot of the other goodies they sell are at reasonable price. And their lunch sandwiches are good as well! :)

Not sure why I haven’t posted sooner! But they are GREAT!!!
It’s GREAT having another option than Bronco or Subway on the hill! They BBQ regularly! And the environment is great. Big Screen TV’s, Radio, and LIVE PERFORMANCES! I’ve seen a guitar player. piano player/​singer… The owners are SO Friendly and inviting!
GREAT COFFEE! YUMMY BITES! and a GREAT place to hang out!
