This dog park is like most the other Hayward Rec ones: great size, secured and gated, two separate areas, dirt, well maintained. A few things I find bothersome: no restrooms, there’s a bench directly next to the fence that separates the little dogs from big dogs. It seems like it’d be very easy for a big dog to jump and over which can potentially be problematic. Ive also brought items to the park only to not find them there the next time. I think they’re either stolen or get thrown out. Something that doesn’t typically happen at the other parks. Overall, not enough people know about this park yet. I’ve been here multiple times now where I’m the only person there for a good 30 minutes-1 hour. The only park that seems to have a consistent flow of dogs is Earl Warren. I’d also love to see some sort of cool obstacle course or cool stuff like other parks in the area. I’d like that for all the HARD dog parks. It’d be such a great investment.

Great park. Nice size. Has safe gates. Benches and tables to sit at. Has dog fountains. Next to the river that had beautiful sounds and arty graffiti. Has some nice trees and a hill that makes it funnier than just romping around a flat park. Has a five parking spots you can drive down into. You can also park on the street and walk in so parking is easy. Nice new park, great size.

Nice dog park in Cherryland area. Everything is new and kept neat. Doggy trash bags were stocked unlike most other parks. The area isn’t level but it’s nice for the doggies to get some exercise. You get a nice view of the San Lorenzo Creek while being here. The small dog area is almost as roomy as the large dog area, which is nice. Come check out Hayward’s newest dog park, the doggies needed something new
