So this isn’t exactly the kind of place you go to for your regular coffee, bagel or donut run. It’s not exactly on the way to or from work. Unless you work in the Alameda County Office of Education, or are attending a training there. Not much to look at. It’s a tiny space that serves its function: providing snacks, caffeine and the emergency sandwich to folks who forgot their lunch, «forgot» their lunch or are too lazy and/or busy to head out somewhere else and get their meal. So why the third star? Cuz it served its purpose true, I so wanted a hot chocolate badly, and even though it wasn’t on the menu(therefore price unknown), the lady behind the counter only charged me a buck. She was extremely nice too. Oh, and they actually have healthy snacks: pop-chips(I didn’t know they made them in individual sizes!), nature valley nut and granola bars, Special K granola clusters… Hooray healthy alternative! oh, that hot choco was a perfect way to end a training in highly air-conditioned rooms.
