This beautiful, new and spacious community library for the Haymarket and Gainesville area is a welcome replacement for the tiny one that was located at James Long Park. Visible from Route 15, this facility is great for all your library needs.
It has a wide selection of books for all ages which includes an amazing children’s section. There are also several rooms for public use: a community room, a quiet study room, and 3 group study rooms. There many PCs for multiple uses including locating your next great read.
Since the place is new it had a really nice, clean feel to it. Lots of large windows let the outside light come in, which is different from many libraries I have been to.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful the two times I interacted with them.
One of my favorite parts is the simple to use self check out. Easy in, easy out!
*This facility is gun carry friendly.
