Village Green

I grew up down the street from the Village Green. It was always my favorite place to get soft serve/creamee’s in the summer. Plus it was only a $ 1.10 for a kiddie size. Although I love twist of chocolate and vanilla, coffee was definitely my favorite. Don’t forget the rainbow sprinkles, always a MUST!
There are picnic tables set up so you can sit, or we would just bring it home since it was so close. Recently on a trip to visit my family I was on a jog and decided to run to the Village Green. I was shocked to find that it was open… IN OCTOBER! Their last day is the 31^st, for any of your creamee lovers.
Of course I didn’t get a creamee mid-​run but I made a visit a few days later, and the creamee was just as good. My favorite thing about it is that the ice cream is hard, not watered down and tastes clean — not icey. Definitely the best spot in the pioneer valley. If you aren’t a creamee person they also have hard ice cream and if you are looking for a place to eat lunch they have a truck set up next door. :)
