I’d like to give this place a nice review. It’s a small mom and pop business that looks like it’s struggling. Unfortunately they’re never open! As far as I can tell, they’re closed on weekends and Mondays. Then, contrary to their posted hours, they actually close around 5ish(not 8 pm). However, I’ve gone twice before 5(once around 4:45 and once at 3) and they were still closed. You can try calling, but they don’t always answer the phone. So out of 5 trips out here, I’ve only successfully ordered bubble tea once, when I came around noon. As for the bubble tea I managed to try, they did have a variety of flavors. I got cantaloupe, since it’s a flavor you don’t find too often. It’s made with the typical powder mix stuff. But the tapioca is made pretty well, and they offer popping boba as well. They serve it as milk or fruit tea, which is in liquid form without any ice cubes in your cup. Or you can order it as a slushy/shake if you want. Pretty average bubble tea, but great prices. My advice is to give it a try if you’re in the area, but don’t go out of your way to come here, it’s not worth the trip when they’re closed more than they’re open.

This place has the best bubble tea. I tried both the slush(lychee) and the milk bubble tea(taro) and they were both excellent. I can’t emphasize how LOWPRICED their items are here. There isn’t too much seating here so don’t plan on sitting here with a large group however the woman behind the counter was as sweet as can be and their slush with boba is excellent. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their flavors.

OMG… just reviewing this in reference to the bubble tea alone. The flavor is absolutely unbelievable. Wonderful. And the price?! Affordable! Use the Unilocal deal, or just go Tuesday or Friday and find an amazingly discounted treat! Better yet use your student ID and always get a discount! They know what they’re doing and they do it well!

Walked in 30 minutes before closing and thought the place looked very cute and quaint! Sitting areas are adorable. There’s a check in discount & Student ID discount!(But you can’t use them both at the same time)! I wanted Thai Iced Tea but unfort. they did not have it/do not have it which broke my heart a little but I kept a smile on and ordered 4 bubble teas(for my family). I ordered Taro with Coconut with boba yogurt, Matcha green tea, strawberry and peach bubble teas. They were all delicious & while the bubbles were a little smaller they were still great! I will definitely be coming around here when I am in the neighborhood(: Also a good tip i think to keep in mind is you have to be careful as the bubble teas don’t get secured with a plastic top that you can«pop» with the bubble tea straw as you normally would, the tops for the cups that are provided are a little loose so keep a good grip on your bubble tea(hehe) ^_^

Ordered a strawberry bubble tea with boba. The boba were delicious but the milk tea was too sweet and had no taste of tea in it. Overall just a sweet milk with syrup

The place is very quaint and cute and the owners are lovely. The prices are insanely cheap(starting at 2.50 plus a student discount if that applies to you) and they have lots of flavors that come in hot, cold, and slush forms. Also order the fried wontons!

I was really craving bubble tea today. I was at William Paterson University, so I looked to Unilocal for some help on places to go to get good bubble tea. I came across this little place. I agree that this place is easy to drive pass/miss. From the outside looking it, it looked a bit old and run down. The door was almost nearly covered by a blind, giving it a closed appearance. From the outside, you can’t even see the inside of the little shop. When I walked in, my initial impression was this placed looked dark and dingy. I don’t know if it was because I came a bit late(around 5:00PM). The lady behind the counter had headphones in barely talked. On to the bubble tea. I got the Japanese Matcha Green Tea Bubble Tea. However, it tasted like jasmine green tea. I’m not sure if she heard me wrong, or their matcha isn’t really matcha. The tapioca were unevenly cooked. For the most part, almost all of my tapioca were hard. They were also REALLY small. I like the bigger tapioca pearls. The price of the bubble tea was, however, dirt cheap. $ 2.50 because they had a special on Tuesdays. You can also use your school ID to get a 20% discount. It is cash only. The place next door, conveniently has an ATM if you need cash. I really wanted to like this place, but the execution was just meh. I didn’t get any of the pastries that they sold. Maybe next time if I decide to give this place another chance.

My fiancé picked the strawberry bubble tea and I the matcha bubble tea. The matcha is not what I am used to but definitely tasty and I was told the strawberry was great! Love the location and woman who helped us. I’ll be back for the other flavors and goodies!

Get the sesame shake! It’s delicious! My boyfriend wasn’t too crazy about his matcha bubble tea, but it satisfied his bubble tea craving. I also love the 20% discount for WPU students if you show them your student ID!

Ok first off, you can easily drive right past this place. One afternoon I decided to see if there was any boba places nearby and found Yum Yum. So after I parked, which was normal street parking, I entered the place. It’s a cute little shop which isn’t meant for staying to eat. It’s more of a take out and go type place. It’s also cash only and students get a discount! Anyway I think I came around a time when not much is going on hence the fact that there was no extra snack or treats on display. Just regular bubble tea and Asian snacks like pocky being sold. However they had a lot of cool boba flavors and I just decided and coconut in the end. It was so tasty! It was the perfect type of sweet too, not too much and not too little. However I like bigger tapioca pearls and these seemed a little small. Anyway I’ll definitely visit again, possibly during the warmer weather for some tasty boba!

If you’re a college student(Willy P students around the corner), you get a discount with your college ID. This was my go to spot in college! Bubble tea with a discount came out to $ 2.50. The best part about it is that you can mix it up with the flavors. My friends and I came out with some pretty weird but tasting stuff. Shout outs to the two owner ladies who had to bare with our crazy concoctions haha. You can actually call them with your order before you get there so you don’t have to wait! I never left without a tiny asian pastry of some sort. They’re delicious when warm. Food/lunch selections are dirt cheap for what they give you. If you’re looking to satisfy your tummy with tiny asian treats. this is the place.

It’s weird calling it bubble tea, so westernized, when I ordered I said boba(she gave me a wha-huh?! look) instead of bubble tea. The lady didn’t understand me so I had to say bubble tea. Wether it’s called bubble tea or boba tea didn’t matter to me. Bubble/boba was still part of a Californian’s diet. I was glad I found this place while visiting NJ. Thanks to Unilocal!I didn’t get lost, that much, just drove past it twice because I wasn’t paying attention(street parking). Once I got there I was welcomed by a Buddha poster. The inside was unappealing. I would have expected a boba place to be… Well more lively. Anyway, I didn’t come to checkout the place. I came to have my boba(bubble tea)! So I ordered Almond, Vanilla, Mocha, and Matcha(green tea) smoothie, with bubbles(boba) of course. It was alright, not great, because I have had great ones. But it was good enough to satisfy my cravings for boba. Oh! checkout their daily price markdowns on certain drinks(different for a specific day) and bring cash because they only accept cash.

Yum Yum is my go to spot if Im treating myself. I used to live in Philly, lived about 5 minutes from Chinatown and not one of the 30 bubble tea spots had popping bubbles, but this place does. Their veggie wraps are also pretty good. My favorites the honey dew tea with passion fruit bubbles. Mango slushes are also awesome.

Why didn’t I find this place sooner? Bubble tea lives up to the store’s name — yummy! Great specials every day of the week, + early bird specials from 11 — 1 pm. Generous child and student discount(wish I were still in school). Steamed cupcakes are good if you don’t like«American» sweet desserts, so note that you shouldn’t expect a standard cupcake from other bakeries. Every since my last bubble tea joint closed down near Ridgewood, I’ve been looking a replacement. Glad I found Yum Yum! Don’t forget to bring cash.

Yum Yum is a treasure. We come here from 4 towns over just to try their delicious bubble tea. We sit through traffic just to taste their boba. We tackle old ladies to glimpse their selection of obscure candy. They are social media savvy and they engage their customers. They are CASHONLY so be aware of this. Bubble tea and slushies are cheap($ 2-$ 3)especially if you are a student(they give you a discount if you have a student ID) Their baked goods are nothing I’ve ever tasted before. They have steamed muffins that are moist, scrumptious, and a healthy option compared to traditional muffins. Their lunch specials are crispy, juicy, sweet, sour, and memorable. I get noodles, I get fries(crisp every time) I get whatever I want because the prices are awesome.($ 2-$ 6) They have candy from Japan, Korea, and all over the Asian countries. It’s a good way to expose yourself to candy that keeps this booming region happy. Try one of them, they’re cheaper than you can find in other specialty stores. Yum Yum’s sit down area is a little small… not good for people that have trouble sitting down and getting up(you know who you are). But this place is supposed to be carry out, so keep that in mind. Support this local store! Take pictures and post them onto their facebook page. Tweet your experience. And always Unilocal!
