My crab and shrimp bisque, angel hair pasta and shrimp, and mango panna cotta was so good. I even had enough sauce from my main dish to use for dinner tonight lol. The only complaint that I have is that the salmon dish didn’t really come with a side. Just some chopped veggies underneath. The salmon was tasty though.

My friends and I went in for happy hour and had a great experience at the bar, turns out John the bartender was a very talented martini maker. After having a few drinks we decided to have some food, I recommend the porterhouse for two with fried mac & cheese with lobster. The rest of the staff were fantastic as well. Looking forward to my next visit.

Stopped in for lunch. Did the 3 course lunch deal which was pretty good. Nice setting, good service. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in Hawthorne.

Enjoyed the perfectly prepared Hendricks n Tonic. Set the mood for the rest of the night Thanks to efficient bartender Tara. Followed by the perfect Osso Buco. The after dinner Expreso Martini was the knockout punch. That’s all folks.

Went with another couple this past Saturday and we were very pleased. Had a 7:00pm reservation and were seated promptly at a nice window table. The waitress was a bit slow at first, but sweet. All four of us LOVED our meals. Three of us had the petite filet, which is more than enough food with the sides. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The sides are delicious. I’m reading other reviews and it’s like we went to a totally different restaurant. Will definitely go back and hope that our good experience was not a fluke.

Ambience is nice but a nice looking restaurant doesn’t get you very far. Went with a big crowd and anything other than the osso bucco & porterhouse steak are highly disappointing. The duck breast was super dry. The 14 oz filet mignon was over-cooked and over charred. One of the porterhouse steaks ordered as a medium-rare came out as well done. Kids meals are not better than any chain restaurant. Sides are ok. Creamed spinach had ham hock in it but was bland. Caramelized Brussel sprouts were too sweet. Mac n cheese & truffle fries were decent. Stuffed long hot peppers were bland and can be made at home much better. Staff is straight faced without much courtesy but they get the job done. Unfortunately it’s nothing to come back to despite the nice décor.

Remember what I said before? Forget all of it. I’ve been sitting here for 2 hours and the bass from the party in the adjacent room for the whole time we’ve been here has been making me nauseous. It’s actually laughable… and should be an embarrassment to the management of this establishment. Service was terrible. Took 30 minutes to get a glass of wine, another 30 to get a check. Needless to say, won’t be back. Peace out, bro’s.

For the life of me I will never understand why someone will spend so much money to make a beautiful restaurant and then fill it with terrible food and poor waitstaff. This overpriced, attractive restaurant has some of the worst food I’ve ever had. I’ve gave it a few tries because it is so close to work and now I’m done. I’ve been served burnt food, undercooked food, food that tasted just like cardboard, and food that took way too long to come out. 40 minutes for a burnt burger doesn’t cut it. And the waitstaff!!! Who«trained» these folks? It’s like they feel like they are doing you a favor to serve you. Don’t waste your money.

My boyfriend and I went to stone manor 101 to use the 50 dollar groupon deal. The service was nice and attentive. The food was delicious. Both of us shared the arugula salad, which was fresh and filling. We also both ordered the salmon, in which the server made sure to ask how we liked it cooked and prepared. The restaurant is romantic and modern looking. Overall, it was enjoyable. Wonderful for date night, dressy and romantic, but affordable considering! We were very pleased with the bill, service, and food.

$ 21 for a 3 course meal at lunch, how can one go wrong? Appetizer, Entrée and Dessert, does life get better? I chose the antipasti kabob as an appetizer. Out came 2 skewers adorned with a nice array of olives, artichokes, tomatoes, mozzarella and salami, yum. For the entrée what else, a NY Strip lightly seasoned with chimichurri and compound butter grilled to perfection. Decided to give up the fries, and was very excited when I learned I could get Broccoli Rabe, it made my day. I was not done, to satisfy the sweet tooth, a brownie(not overwhelming) just perfectly sized with a dollop of whipped and ice cream. The only negativity was that a doggie bag was almost lost in a relatively empty dining room. Hey nobody’s perfect. All in all a great experience, and a Stones(no pun intended) throw from work, does life get better?

Had a Groupon for Lunch. For starters The crab cake and coconut shrimp were very tasty. The entrees were simply delicious… Filet mignon was cooked perfectly and the Lobster ravioli was orgasmic. Will definitely be returning.

The brussel sprout and the fries were amazing! The ribeye was a little thin but good. Just don’t get the apple tart here… not a good dessert. the apples were raw and the pastry had no flavor. I would go back!

Was overcharged on my credit card 2x. Called and they said was a glitch however management wasn’t helpful at all I had to file several claims. The food is all groupon and so makes me think they aren’t fresh with their steaks if they are almost out of business. Hope this place steps it up has to see it go. Since we had several special occasions held here.

Nice menu options including prix fixe. Side dishes and appetizers were unique and varied and Brussels sprouts are always a welcome treat. Truffle oil fries with Parmesan is something I could eat daily and I had a lot tonight. Server was just okay and lots of serving assistants helped serving flow. Dessert was unspectacular. Bread was not special but bread tapenades were good. Dining room lighting was flickering but settled down after lights were dimmed.

I really wanted to like this place as I have had positive experiences at the sister restaurant Casarina. The location is right off of 9A across from a movie theater which makes it a nice spot. Inside everything appears to be new and clean and a nice area on the side for catering. I came on a Groupon with my wife which I used for lunch. We decided to get the sliders for an an appetizer and I got the the filet Mignon and my wife got the hanger steak for lunch. The sliders were ok but honestly no flavor and pretty tasteless. The filet and hanger steak followed delivered without steak knives or steak sauce offered. I’ve worked in restaurants and have eaten at many restaurants and this was beyond the worst filet I’ve ever had. The quality was stew like and stringy with no flavor with mashed potatoes that just had sauce poured on them. Terrible. The only thing worse was the hanger steak that almost looked like it was per-cooked. It’s really a shame that ownership which invested quite a bit in restoring the building and location did not take the time to hire a descent chef and prepare quality food. Perhaps they could say that it was lunch and the main chef was not on duty but that’s not excuse for what was presented. My only mistake is not asking for a manager. I will never be back

Just a quick update… They double-charged my credit card. I called them twice and emailed them to get a refund. It took disputing the charge through AMEX to get it settled. HORRIBLE.

My husband’s aunt treated us for dinner here. She made reservations for 8pm, however the host mentioned there was a 5 minute wait, after 10 minutes of waiting we were sat. Stone Manor is very cute, I like the simplicity of the restaurant and the lighting was perfect. The menu is basic and simple. Salad options are good. And their entrees all sounded pretty good too. I went for the pesto gnocchi(I was hoping for a basil pesto– their pesto was very earthy and was not fond of it, I was a disappointed and not at all pleased with the taste). I tried to make the best out of it, nonetheless my hubby and his aunt had the filet mignon with different sides. And they both raved about it! We ordered drinks and our server delivered! I asked for a Chocolate Martini–«clear, not milky» and when he brought my cocktail, I was very pleased. He understood what I asked for. We ended our night a Brownie a la Mode and it was definitely tasty.(Although my 1st choice was Coconut Tres Leches cake, our server came back to say they were all out). Nonetheless, the experience was nice. Next time I’ll go for the Swordfish!

Last night was my first time dining at Stone Manor and it was wonderful. We were seated promptly even though it was a packed house last night(I would recommend making a reservation for a Saturday Night). Our server was very courteous. He was warm, charming and had a great knowledge of the menu, specials of the evening and the wine list. We ordered a bottle of red wine for the table(I forgot the name but it was delicious and rich with flavor). I had the coconut shrimp as an appetizer. It came in a reasonable amount of time and it was delicious! The shrimps were huge and the coconut breading was to die for! Next came my 22oz bone in ribeye with lobster tail and garlic mashed potatoes with sautéed spinach. Unfortunately, my steak was medium well and not medium as I requested. My server, Chris, apologized and within 5 minutes I had my replacement which was cooked to perfection! The steak literally melted in my mouth. The entire meal was delicious. nothing was a disappointment. I ended the night with the brownie dessert. While it’s advertised as a warm desert, mines was cold and a little bland. I wouldn’t recommend. Other than that, the experience was great. It was a little loud though and seating was pretty cramped so that in addition to the lackluster dessert is why this review is shy one star. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

Ok. Went back with the wife for our anniversary. The place was super busy. Sat at bar. It was fine. I had the rib eye and she had the prime rib. Both were world class.(the gnocchi pesto sucks big time) Stick to the meats if you go. The place does not do Italian well at all I’ll go back I recommend you go too
