PLS Check Cashers

Yesterday I went to the PLS Check Cashing in the city of Lawndale. on the corner of Prairie and Marine. Keep in mind that I am a regular customer who has been a customer before the name on the building was changed to PLS. I cash my payroll check at this location weekly so I was fond and familiar with everyone there. I called ahead to find out what they would charge to cash my Federal Tax Return. I was told 3percent and went into the store. I was assisted by the site manager Sai, someone who has assisted me on many occasions and always engaged me in small talk. I explained why I was there and the phone call quoting 3percent. Sai was rude like I had never experienced. She as much as called me a liar. I reminded her that I was a regular and I recognized the voice who quoted me the 3percent as I am familiar with eveyone there. Im there ALL the time. After supposedly making a phone call she decided that she would «do me a favor», and honor the percentage that I was quoted. Gee thanks! With the worse attitude ever she cashed the check and tried to cheat me out of $ 40.00 I corrected her calculation which really made her mad because she was busted. She looked at the coworker next to her as if to say damn she caught me. I left pissed vowing never to return but that would be to easy… My advice BE AWARE… DO THE MATH… COUNT YOUR CHANGE… DON’T TRUST THEM TO DO WHAT’S RIGHT…
