Nelson’s Computer Shop

My goddaughter’s HP laptop needed a new DC Power Jack — they apparently have a tendency to break loose from the motherboard and need to be replaced. Andy, owner of Nelson’s, said he was very familiar with this problem. He ordered a new power jack, and we were able to drop off and pick up the computer all within 24 hours. Extremely reasonable repair price. Andy also discovered that the laptop’s rechargeable battery was kaput. He wasn’t able to get one the same day from his usual supplier, so he told me where else I could buy one myself locally in Torrance. I would definitely trust Andy with any future needed laptop repairs. BTW, I was referred to Nelson’s by Moe at Laser Print Service in Redondo Beach — they will diagnose a printer problem, then tell you whether the device is worth fixing. Another honest repair guy.
