Don’t let the address fool you. This truck is «parked: outside of Dat Moi Market on Crenshaw in Gardena(just below Rosecrans). What made me choose Doty’s? (stutters) What had happened was… I was drunk and needed some grease(although their food wasn’t really greasy). Enough of that, let’s get to the food. I ordered a chicken taco and asada burrito. The taco was extremely small, and the burrito was a bit on the small side too, but had a lot of flavor. Last but not least, the condiments… all salsas were great, but those spicy cucumber were the truth! YOU might not be able to hang with those.

I’ve been coming to this taco truck since they started as a taco stand infront of their house. Their food is amazing and for some reason they are my first choice when ever I having a taco craving. They are now a legitimate business with an A grade and some very very amazing tacos.

Great tacos. Go with my family regularly… Didn’t know they got a taco truck. I thought they went out of business or were shut down cause we could never find them. Glad we finally did

Don’t mind the review about the health rating C grade. As of 7÷14÷15 Doty Taocs has an A rating. To the rating: I’ve been frequenting this taco truck for quite some time now, and I have not been let down once. My usual go to is the carne asada and the al pastor tacos, which are very good in my opinion. I’ve also had the mulitas a few times and those as well have not let me down. Also the red salsa is delicious if you are into very very spicy flavors! I recommend this taco truck to anyone who is in the area and willing to give it a shot. Of the three trucks that are parked on Crenshaw, Doty’s Taco’s is by far the best of them all! Thanks Lupe for making some of the best tacos in the area.

We recently moved to the area. As we drove down Crenshae we would see this food truck with a crowd. We finally decided to stop by and see what was the deal. The food is amazing. We definitely love the lengua(tongue), asada and the adobado. It was great. They don’t put anything on them, they have a «salad/salsa bar» so you can add as much or as little of onion with cilantro, salsa Verde, salsa of guacamole, or salsa roja. They also have spicy cucumber and salsa De nopales. Super good. Cash only. Reasonable prices. Other customers that we spoke to said that they have been following them around Hawthorne because they are that good… Which they are. Stop by. Crenshaw and Rosecrans… Ish

This is the first time Unilocal has EVER let me down. Are you all getting paid to leave all these reviews?!? I am soooooo disappointed and not satisfied. At. All. I spent $ 19 on 4 asada mulitas, 2 asada tacos and a horchata. Since it was to go my order was wrapped in foil and bagged so I assumed it was done. I got home and the first thing I thought was«Shit I didn’t even double check if my order was complete.» Sure enough I unwrap my two plates and there were 2 mulitas on one plate and 2 mulitas on the other. For some reason one plate of mulitas were cut in half whereas the other plate was not. Was this supposed to trick me into thinking my order was complete!!! To seem as if my total order of 6 items were actually there!!! What a rip off. There goes $ 4 down the drain. UGH. Even the horchata tastes a little off. How can you go wrong with horchata?!? What’s worse is that I noticed the C grade it has from the health department just as I was leaving. GROSS! I hope I don’t get food poisoning. You guys are better off spending $ 19 at Taco Zone in LA or Taco Sinaloa in Torrance.

It’s a legit taco truck that parks in front of the Dat Moi market. They charge $ 1 extra for homemade tortillas, which are a must! We tried the chorizo, al pastor, asada and carnitas. I also got a mulita, which to me is a mini quesadilla. All were great in flavor but my favorites were the chorizo and al pastor. If you like spicy get the cucumbers. They are soaked in some crazy spice! I’ll have to go back and try their lengua tacos.

We’ve been following Lupe and her tacos for a good year now. They started with a street taco stand and have now upgraded to a truck. They are open every night from 6:30PM to midnight(weekends they are open longer). I come all they way from San Pedro to get her food. Yes, believe me, it is to die for! The tacos have a very generous amount of meat. And the variety of foods they offer will fill any appetite that comes their way. Mulitas are delicious, think of it as a taco/quesadilla, and of course my personal favorite — carne asada tacos. Yumm! The parking can get a bit tricky, but please don’t let it stop you from buying some food. FYI — they are located in front of Dat Moi Market. The closest main streets are Crenshaw and Rosecrans… and bring CASH!

I went on a date with my boyfriend to Doty’s Tacos and it was the best taco-stand date I’ve ever had. Tacos are delicious and I was excited about theirs tripas and lengua options. Cabeza is amazing. They’ve moved to Gardena.

Mannnnn… this place is legit! Best tacos in the South Bay thus far and the burritos are good as well but won’t get you stuffed. The guac sauce taste like the ones you find in Mexico. *sings* I’m in love with the Tacos!”

I must say at first i was skeptical to to try thier tacos. But once i did i regretted for not trying them soon. Thier asada tacos are the best so far. Very good flavor and clean meat, not much fat on it. The Al Pastor tacos are ok, the meat it too hard. Overally nest tacos for a dollar that i have tried. If you try them you eill agree.

Completely random place on a side street in Hawthorne is the last place you think you would find a great taco but this place is legit. It’s a stand in the front yard of a husband and wife duo who began cooking and selling home-made meals out of their kitchen and eventually as word got out in the neighborhood they expanded(well to the front yard) with a large grill/cook top. The pastor and carnitas are outstanding and for $ 1/taco it’s hard to believe what you’re eating. There are spiced and pickled veggies in large tubs and 3 – 4 sauces, including a avocado-pepper spread that is insanely good with just the right amount of kick. They also sell tortas, quesadillas and horchada The husband cooks at the grill and you won’t see much of him but the wife is very friendly and outgoing. They also cater events– I think she said $ 500 for roughly 70 people, unlimited tacos, you keep any leftovers. Would never have found this place but a friend of mine heard about it through word of mouth and it was as good as advertised– definitely worth a stop if in South Bay. Practical advice: cash only, Thursday-Monday 7p-12a, street parking in a so-so neighborhood but I didn’t feel unsafe or out of place. This is essentially a backyard BBQ so don’t expect much in the way of ambience but do expect food prepared with pride and unbelievable flavor/price.
