This place is really cute. They have their own selection of whole beans in the back for sale and the coffee is made to order. I got a cappuccino and a muffin when I was here. The cappuccino was good, but the muffin was ehh. The muffin I originally wanted was sold out so I got the cranapple muffin instead. They serve the muffins warmed up(microwaved). This lead to it being pretty soggy. My boyfriend and I took a few bites but couldn’t finish since it just fell apart. Prices are reasonable. I’d like to try some more of their coffee next time.

I love this little place. The people they have working there are super friendly if you take a minute to share a word with them. The little amenities like a little shelf by the door to put down your coffee if your hands are full so you can open it is just one little example. Try the cold press!

I hate this place! The owner is so snotty! Concord Point Coffee in the 200 block is FAR better! The Lucas family from Concord Point is doing great things for the town which will hopefully include contributing to Java by the bays closure! When you go to Concord Point get a mocha amore!

Cute. Decent coffee. Good selection of beans. No wifi which is actually pretty okay. Very very local-friendly. Sort of cold if you are not known. Kind of a weird vibe from the owners. We can get a lot of coffee in a lot of places. Get it together.

Small coffee shop, quaint and very friendly. Coffee is ok, nothing special but much better then most on the drive from DC back to NY.

Really weird experience here. When I came in on a Monday afternoon, there was no one in sight. I waited a few minutes and then said«hello? hello??» Normally I would have left, but I had promised I’d return with coffee, so I waited. Finally, a man appeared from the back without acknowledging that I’d obviously been there for some time. Anyway, he seemed annoyed by my questions about the different flavors and drinks and unwilling to tell me what went in to the smoothies and blended coffees. As I don’t consume milk or cream, I was trying to make sure it wasn’t included, and he was being very vague. They do offer soy milk though. My boyfriend really enjoyed his mocha blended coffee(although we have no clue what was in it) but my strawberry banana smoothie was gross. It tasted like artificial sweetener and I’m pretty sure he forgot the banana. It was really weird that the more I tried to watch what he was putting in the drinks, the more he attempted to hide what was going on. Drinks were $ 4.50 each which I guess is about average.

Adorable little coffee shop. Reminds me of Stars Hollow when I’m there. The coffee is great. Dessert treats great also. The staff is friendly but very partial to regulars. They will spend lots of time chatting with the regulars but ignore everyone else.

Hasn’t changed much since the grand opening … and it’s still cute and cozy. Smells great — and very good coffee. Nice to see the locals hanging out with a cup of joe. But remember — it’s a small place and doesn’t lend itself to the more modern interpretation of a coffee house where you can escape to the web via free wi-fi on your laptop …

This little place is adorable! Wide range of coffee for such a small place, at least 15 varieties ready to be ground and taken home and a large array of espresso drinks too.

Nice atmosphere and good coffee. A very relaxed location frequented by the HdG locals. However, this isn’t the kind of coffee shop to retreat to with your laptop to get a few hours of work done. There is no wireless and you aren’t allow to plug your computer in– which I’ve never heard of in a business. Great to grab a quick cup of coffee and a bagel.

In the nice town of Havre De Grace. Has a cozy feel when you walk in. The coffee is good, owners are nice people. If you are looking to just hand out and have a cup of coffee it is a good spot.

This is your classic local coffee shop — a warm, cozy place for a variety of good coffees, pastries and bagels, and the chance to get a real taste of this lovely waterfront city’s atmosphere, people, and politics. The owners are warm and friendly and the service prompt, but, it’s the people you’ll meet there that’ll make this place memorable.
