I have four children, and I have used Safari Parties multiple times. Lynne was very flexible and tailored the party and animals used to be age appropriate for each of my children. The party guests as well as their parents enjoyed getting a close up look at exotic animals, as well as learning about them. There was surprisingly no mess from the animals, and unlike the other reviewer, there was no prevailing odor. My parties were always in my home, not a public place. The animals were clean and obviously well cared for. We have had skating, mini golf, pizza, movie and paint ball parties but none were as unique. The Kinkajou eating his grapes upside down, the albino skunks and the graceful serval will always be a happy memory. Call Lynne, for a Safari Party, you won’t be disappointed.

I can’t believe Lynne’s Safari Parties have not been reviewed more and that the one review on here is 1 star. We’ve had Lynne come to the library where I work in Wynnewood for many years now. Since taking over as children’s librarian, I’ve had her visit twice a year because her program is that much of a crowd-pleaser. It’s not uncommon for the children’s room to be packed to the gills during her program, and she does a phenomenal job of working the room and making sure everyone gets a chance to see each of her animals(and even touch, or wear them, like her friendly boa!) This is the one event we have that is always a huge success. Lynne is absolutely wonderful with audiences. She speaks to children in an accessible but respectful way, and her overarching message is one of kindness to animals, emphasizing that a pet is a commitment that should not be taken lightly. But this isn’t just for the kids – Lynne’s sense of humor keeps adults laughing the entire time, and you never walk away from a show without learning something new! Lynne’s animals really are exotic, in that you can’t own most of them without special permits in the state of PA. And I guarantee that you’ve never been in the room with an albino skunk before, and certainly not 5 feet away from it. She clearly has a wonderful relationship with the animals and even kisses a lot of them(to the glee of young attendees!) She has a python called Monty, and a 12 foot long one(that requires the help of 4 adult audience members to hold) called… wait for it… The Full Monty. All of her animals have clever names like that – for example, Baseball the Bat, Sonic the Hedgehog, etc. As the person who books Lynne’s program, I have to say she is amazing to work with. She returns calls promptly, sends email confirmations of the program, and always arrives early to set up. She usually stays longer than the hour to allow for some time to talk with the audience. At the library, she isn’t able to do Q&A during the program because that would take forever(if you have ever been with a group of children, you know that questions often turn into stories, which turn into tangents), but she usually answers a few questions afterwards. The program costs $ 310 at the library; I’m not sure how much she charges for birthday parties and events(which are the main part of her business), but I guarantee it’s worth it, especially for a smaller group where she can probably answer more questions and let the audience be more interactive with the animals. One last note: just know that if you host a Safari Party, the room is going to stink up. It airs out in a day or so. Also, the animals sometimes need to poop during the show, but Lynne cleans up everything. If it’s at your home, maybe consider laying down a tarp, but otherwise, it should be fine. I highly recommend Lynne and her animals for a truly memorable experience!
