This restaurant in the perfect place to come in and grab food ToGo! From there rice and beans to there chicken or lamb, its fantastic! Lets not forget to mention that they are super friendly and for $ 7.00 you get a large amount of food well worth the price. I highly recommend this little gem in Haverstraw.

Huge round container of white rice, pinto beans, and carnitas, all of which were delicious
–white rice fluffy and perfect combo of soft and chewy (and i usually stay away from refined carbs)
–beans flavorful but not too salty – perfect mixer for the rice
–carnitas flavorful but not too salty, with the perfect tenderness
The only reason i’m not giving it 5 stars is because most of the platter is rice, but the amount of beans and carnitas is filling enough. For $ 7, you can’t go wrong, but it’s only worth it to me if i’m going to take half of it home. You may end up not finishing only the rice, but the rice alone is still worth the takeout.
Also very friendly people! Definitely hard working and kind-​hearted. It wouldn’t hurt to know and to use a little Spanish.

Great dominican food always fresh and great prices if you dine in the portions are huge rice beans and choice of meat if you get food to go I recommend 4 $ container meat rice and beans plus you can add avocado for a dollar and you set

Great food ! But I gave it 3 stars because there’s only one worker in the front and it gets busy also they need someone who speaks fluent english. Other than that this restaurant is pretty good I’ve never dine yet.(I like my food to go) Prices are good for the food. I recommend going to this restaurant if your carving some delicious Dominican food.
