This place claims to be all natural as can be read on there«about us page» on the website. However they use partially hydrogenated oils and mono-diglycerides. When i called to ask why, i was treated very poorly when a baker got on the phone named pat. He was rude enough to tell me if «i wanted to eat healthy maybe i shouldn’t eat whoopie pies«. I Said«whats that got to do with you claiming to be all natural and you using that stuff?» why does it list these ingredients on the two pack and not the single whoopie pies? VERY Misleading and flat out false advertising. He says«we are all natural and that stuff isnt bad». I said im going to leave a Unilocal review telling all about this he said«Go ahead he wont loose sleep over it and he doubts he will lose business either». I was just taken back by this attitude. He also refused to let me speak with a manager, however i did get to speak with the owner after offering to come speak with the manager in person he went and got her. She is just as clueless about claiming they are all natural and seems to think its ok because thats the way they have always done it??? This is insane, these people are lying to the public about ingredients and been getting away with it. News flash guys, you are not«All natural ingredients«and someone ought to hold you accountable and or educate you on what all natural means and why you need to disclose things like partially hydrogenated oils and mono and diglycerides these are synthetic materials not all natural and they need to be written on labels if you are going to sell them.

I love this place! It has the best pastries I’ve ever had. Everything is made right there. The cakes are awesome and they have the best chocolate chip cookies and their coffee is very good. The people that work there are awesome! I wish I could go there everyday.

Emily’s Bakery has the best baked deserts around. Emily made our wedding cake and cupcakes, and to say the least, she did an incredible job. I would recommend them for weddings in an instant. Also, I love their blueberry scones, rocky road brownies, challah bread, and seasonal pies. They have great coffee as well. Go check it out!

Emily’s has THEMOSTAMAZING blueberry scone’s that I’ve found in the area, as well as melt in your mouth cream cheese brownies(they make turtle & chocolate ganache versions as well) along with a myriad of other tantalizing & tasty treats. They also have great iced coffee, super reasonable prices, & speedy service with a smile every time I’m there. This has quickly become one of my go to places for my ‘pastry problem’ ;-) ! Thanks for all your hand crafted deliciousness & keep up the great work!

Every March I search for the best Irish soda bread. I was at Building 19 and decided to see if Emily’s had some. They did, I bought it and it was … OK. Not the best I’ve ever had but not the worst by far. I wish I could say I’ve tried a wide variety here but that’d be a lie. I have tried random sweet things and they were(I have to sound like a broken record here) OK. Maybe the problem is that I haven’t tried any of the things that other Unilocalers are raving about. Once I get a chance to do so, I’ll surely update and let y’all know. For now, I think if you decide to try something, you’ll be OK :)

Whoopie Pie lovers take note: theirs are THEBEST! This place is small and a bit sleepy. However, at each of my half dozen visits over the past two or more years, the pastries were fresh and reasonably priced. On a weekend morning you’ll find the muffins hot from the oven. Brownie type things are wonderful here!

I had wanted to try this bakery for a long time(I love little bakeries), and this morning I finally managed to go in. The selection is really small, they have two small glass cases that weren’t even completely full, and a couple of different coffees. The service was quick(there was only one other person in there), but the man who gave us our pastries was totally rude, even though I was completely friendly. When I left and said thank you, he sounded annoyed and said«okay.» Besides the small selection and poor service, the pastries were yummy and decent sized, but I don’t think I will be going back any time soon.

A couple years ago, I fell in love with the almond crecent cookies. They are to die for! A variety of cookies, pastries, muffins, and even a breakfast sandwich, all of their items are priced very reasonably. For my father’s birthday, I needed a cake with an edible photo transfer, and the day before they saved my a** and did it for me. The picture came out awesome in quality, and the cake was delicious. For a year or so, I have been going in to get an iced coffee as my main item, and it is always delicious. Cheaper than Dunkin’s and in the same plaza, Emily’s is always my first choice. Run by Emily and her husband, this amazing bakery is my number one choice around here.

After grabbing lunch at DJ’s, I went next door to Emily’s Bakery for some sweets to go with my after meal coffee(I went to Dunkins across the parking lot). The bakery was pretty quiet around 2PM on a typical weekday and the display case had mainly cookies, muffins, and small pastries, not much of a selection in the afternoon. They also have bagged cookies ready to go. Besides that, they also do any occasion cakes, character cakes, and wedding cakes plus they also serve coffee drinks. I did try out some Hermit Cookies($ 1.00 each), which had a sweet spicy smell & taste. I also got the last Chocolate Chip Cookie($ 1.00), which was okay with a grainy inside texture and a modest amount of chocolate chips, not dense, buttery & packed with chocolate chips like I’m so used to. Overall, decent and reasonably priced baked goods with quick service.
