If you’re looking for a cute breakfast place with awesome coffee and great food this is your place. The staff is so helpful. It’s owned by a couple, the husband cooks and the wife is a server. They’re both so sweet. I got an omelette with toast and hash browns, I even went back the next morning to order the exact same thing because it was so friggin delicious. Please support this place! They get most ingredients for things like their bread and coffee local!!! Seriously, the best place to eat around the Haverhill area.

Loved this place! Breakfast was delicious! The staff was super friendly and the environment was so laid back. My husband and I enjoyed our brunch, we will be back.

Really great breakfast place in downtown Haverhill. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Prices are great, and the food is even better. I came here for the first time this weekend and had pancakes with chocolate chips and bananas. The pancakes are huge and fluffy, coffee is delicious and served with a smile. The owners are extremely hospitable and came to check on our table a few times to ensure everything was to our liking. This is my top favorite breakfast place in Haverhill; I only wish I had found it sooner!

Great, non-​greasy breakfast food! Think I found my new fav breakfast place! The only thing I can say negative is the lack of privacy due to the tables so close together, but that will definitely not stop me from going to enjoy a great breakfast with great service!

This is a great breakfast option. They have a huge menu and I’m always happy with the food. The pancakes are very good. The owners always want to make sure everyone is happy. Sandy is a mile a minute and such a pleasant person. I’ve tried a lunch sandwich once and it was also good and I love having the side options (I think there were like four of them). Price for a wrap was excellent as well. My only complaint is the hours are more limited as it’s a family business, so it’s very understandable.
Definitely give this small business a try!

My first Unilocal review! Stopped here on a road trip home from NH. We wanted to eat a good meal– no roadside diners or fast food– so we searched this place out based on Unilocal reviews. Took an unintentional scenic route through Haverhill and paid metered parking but totally worth it. Small place and busy with the lunch rush. One server was busting her hump to offer great service. The level of service given by the server and cook staff was fantastic!!! Open kitchen is cool because you can see your meal being prepared. We ordered grilled cheeses for the kids, chicken salad wrap and meatloaf sandwich for the grownups. Sandwiches were yummy, bread was fresh, fries were hot. Fresh lemonade and iced tea. Cook staff greeted us and came to the table to chat, which made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Would definitely eat here again. Who knew we would find southern hospitality in Mass???

This place is adorable! It’s worth sitting down and enjoying your breakfast. The staff is really amicable. Aside from the food (which is great), the people there have a lot of character. I really enjoy going here on weekends when I have friends visiting and looking for a great breakfast.

The food here is great. The servers are incredibly friendly and helpful. I do wish they had an online menu, as sometimes I’d love to place an order for pickup on lazy Sunday’s.

Stopped in on the way home from NH for lunch. Half hour till close and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Small, funky, warm décor. I loved the local art work on display. Lunch was fantastic and the portion sizes were great for the money. My dad said it was the best Ruben he’s ever had. I’d love to try breakfast here someday!

Hidden gem! Had the pancakes with fresh berries on top and cleaned my plate. So so good!!!

Excellent for breakfast or lunch! I had the western breakfast sandwich on ciabatta and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. 10 times better than DD breakfast sandwiches. Great atmosphere & the selection is fantastic. Had the Reuben for lunch and it was very good, but the side of red roasted pepper pasta salad was as good as mom makes (or better)! Highly recommend a stop at the Artist’s Café.

What a gem! I just had the Eggs Benedict and it was wonderful. The muffin was grilled to perfection. The server was very sweet and attentive. I loved all the art on the walls and it was nice being able to watch the chef in the kitchen. Great place to start the day!

Food was great! I had eggs, toast, FRench toast, bacon, sausage, and an OJ and it was all on point. Service good too except young waitress sittin down chillin when i walked in, leaving me confused if i seat myself or how i order. Cook and older waitress gave me the down low. Older waitress was busy w/​customers when i walked in otherwise i bet she would have got me set up real quick. Older waitress was great and very attentive. Not as cheap as id like, but not overpriced. Im spoiled by how cheap my hometown Gold Star Diner in the Woo always was. Overall: TASTED GREAT! Great breakfast spot.

My wife and I loved the breakfast we had this morning. I had a broccoli and cheese omelette. It was cooked in an omelette pan. Not on a greasy grill top. Not many places cook it this way. My wife had the Eggs Benedict Florentine. She raved about it. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Although the restaurant was busy. I highly recommend It for breakfast and can’t wait to try lunch.

I’ve been back to the Artist café since my first few endeavors and this place has improved immensely.
Service is fantastic. Very attentive and the food magically appears in no time (in fact, I’m always amazed at how fast the food shows up). food is always tasty and just the right amount. Lots of menu selections for brekfast from sandwiches to scrambles to pancakes and french toast. Their coffee has also improved greatly they have opened (as my previous review had me hating on the coffee).
I’m really glad to see this place flourish. I’ll definitely make this my default breakfast place in Haverhill.
