Havasu Landing Resort & Casino

The restaurant here is great, with a Lakeview. It’s not fine dining, so don’t come here expecting that, but you can get a great breakfast. You can also fill up your boat here or use a real bathroom if you need it when you’re on the lake.
Plus: my husband left his wallet here when we were getting gas in our boat and someone turned it in. YAAAY that’s unheard of these days!

Literally walked into this place and walked out. The casino is tiny, outdated, but more importantly, the air quality is TERRIBLE! No, thank you.
My husband and I enjoyed the ferry ride over from Lake Havasu City. It cost us a total of $ 4 for the round trip. The ferry made this excursion worth the one star I’m forced to award this lame, disgusting place.

We were in this tiny casino for about 20 minutes until we felt like we might die from smoke inhalation. There aren’t any fans or ventilation so it’s basically a cesspool for germs and second hand smoke. We both left with $ 30 less in our wallet and a headache from all the smoke. We will never go back.

Love this place… been coming here for 10+ years! Friendly staff, decent food, great times. Sometimes the service in the restaurant is a little slow pace, but who cares man. I’m on vacation, I’m in no rush! I would give this place 10+ stars if I could. Thank you providing a cool spot for the out of towners to hang out and have good times with their families.

Took literally an hour and 20 minutes to get our food. They never said sorry once. Once the food came out is wasn’t even that great.

Nice view of the lake from restaurant. The good is good, not overpriced. The guest slips are clean and wide. The casino is small, but it’s close. Overall, not much to do but ok for a short trip.

Great views, decent food, a fun boat ride across the lake, don’t expect to be blown away but definitely a fun little red neck place. I always make it a stop when I’m at the lake

I eat here for work when I’m up here. I felt like I should write a review after today’s experience. I ordered a custom Spanish Omelette and it was probably the best one I’ve had in months. The waitresses always treat me well! The computer system was down so I had to use the ATM with a 4 dollar charge. They apologized and promised to make up for it next time!!! Great experience that deserves some recognition! Thanks!

As so many others have previously posted; the best part of the this casino was the ferry ride. Quick tip. Grab yourself the daily newspaper beforehand, they always have coupons for free rides in there. The ride itself was scenic and the ferry was nice and air conditioned. All in all, the ferry trip is approximately 15 minutes each way.
Unfortunately, the ferry trip was truly the only highlight. The casino itself is a hole in the wall with slots. I don’t expect Vegas quality but after seeing to the joints in the Phoenix area and even Laughlin, to say Havasu Landing is lacking would be a generous overstatement.
The restaurant? The less I say, the better. Ordered fish and chips. Paid 9 bucks for it only to get three fish sticks that looked like they were pulled right out of one of those Gorton’s boxes you can get at WalMart for 5 bucks, and a handful of fries. When I say handful, it’s more like the hand of a young child. The service sucked. Waited almost 40 minutes for our food, and not once was asked if we wanted refills. Finally my family and I finished eating and waited another 30 minutes for her to get the check and cash us out. All along the way, she seemed about as enthusiastic about doing her job as she would be getting a colonoscopy. There were two other families there and I swear I don’t think I saw her crack a smile or even take time to acknowledge any of us once. Took our order, dropped our food off, gave the check and cashed us out. No personality at all. I’ve never not tipped a waitress but this gal was close to the no tip line. It was truly that bad.
If you’re in Havasu, do yourself a favor. Take the ferry ride over. Stay on and go right back. Experience that side of Havasu Landing. Nothing else is worth the time or money.

Food is not horrible, but nothing even remotely special. I ordered the corned beef hash with potatoes and my corned beef was way too salty. The pancakes were good, but how does one screw up pancakes? Now for my REAL review. The service was terrible! I haven’t had service this bad in FOREVER. It took us about 15 minutes before we were even asked what we wanted to drink, and then another 15 minutes to take our orders. Ohhhh. and food??? That took about 40 minutes! We already committed to sitting there that long, so we figured, why not just finish off this horrible experience! I’ve no clue WTH the cook was doing and our waitress seemed to be avoiding our area like the plague! She wasn’t even apologetic, nor did she try to at least refill our drinks. Finally when the food came, she had another waitress trying to help hand out our plates, and again, NEITHER of them were apologetic about the wait! In fact the waitress that was assisting brought out the place settings of our forks n’ knives and tossed them on the table! I mean she tossed them pretty hard, not even nicely placing them down! It was a borderline throw across the table! I will NEVER go here again! Horrible service, and mediocre food! The only GOOD thing I can say about this place, is that the prices are very cheap! And in service… you get what you pay for! I do NOT recommend this place!

I WON!!! Lol, my third bet on a quarter slot machine, and BOOM $ 300-​!!! I really liked this little casino. It has a good vibe, and the employees are very nice and helpful as well. Their little restaurant was okay. I got chicken fingers and fries– it was very good, but who messes up chicken fingers lol
I liked this place better than Blue Water in Parker AZ! It’s just a nice place looking out over the water.

2.5 Ugh I dread pulling up and having to «go have fun here.» They have 2 or 3 tables– 3 card and blackjack. Lots of slots. This isn’t the place where you make money, its generally casino rape.
It seems cleaner than past years, but overall its pretty depressing. The restaurant has a gorgeous view on the water. The food is mediocre/​average. If you have time and want to eat walk up the hill to the sail inn the food and drinks much better.
Ill go back because I am forced to. That’s all. Watch out for really obnoxious meat head drunk people– they tend to flock here fyi.

I’ll start by saying… this is my first bad review on Unilocal,I’ve only written reviews for the places I love, but clearly… this place isn’t one of them & deserved a bad review!
This was by FAR the worst service I’ve ever had at any restaurant… ever! I just got back from a weekend trip with some friends to Havasu, Saturday night after a very long day on the water we go to this Havaus Landing Resort & Casino to eat (since there is pretty much nothing else close by). Wish I would have known how overwhelming all that cigarette smoke is from the Casino area, gross. We’re all starving & tired, we show up around 8:15 & order at 8:30…we did not receive our food for over an HOUR!
It looked semi-​busy when we first arrived, with 2 large groups near us… however they already had their food. So we have no idea what the hell the «cook» was doing back in the kitchen, it should never take over an hour to cook up some burgers & fries (which is what most of us ordered). I was trying not to blame our waitress since it really wasn’t her doing at all, HOWEVER… in the hour we waited for our food she never once came over to check how we were doing, see if we need more water/​drinks, never apologized or maybe could offer us a free dessert or something, NOTHING! All she did was run around frantically & was slightly rude if we tried to ask her a question, all I kept hearing her say was «The cook hasn’t ever had a busy night & doesn’t know what he’s doing!».There was only, maybe 5 – 6 tables waiting for food? That’s not as busy as most restaurants get on a Saturday night!
When they finally did start bringing our food out, they only brought half the tables food (mostly burgers), and then didn’t bring out the rest for another 20 min! Some of which were ALSO burgers… why did the cook not make all the burgers together? I swear I could have gone back there, made the food myself & been outta there in 20 min. And of course, to no one’s surprise, when we got our food it wasn’t remotely hot… most of it was lukewarm, the fries were completely cold. The food was cheap (so I already wasn’t expecting much), it tasted alright, since we were STARVING by the time we got it (it being past 10 now… again, we ordered at 8:30).
So now it just kind of ruined our night… put the whole group in a downer mood. Of course, they never offered us a discount or anything for the shitty shitty service we got. We were planning on hanging around the Casino & Bar, but after that miserable experience at the restaurant, we wanted to get the hell out of there. I will never go back to eat at this place, & would I NEVER recommend anyone eating here (unless they somehow got an all new staff — definitely a new cook — that actually knew what they were doing & how to treat customers properly).

My friends and I do a yearly trip to Havasu and I have never been inside the Casino. However, I have been to the «resort» part, which consist of mobile homes aka cabins. It’s pretty awesome. I always have a good time here and it’s always full of shenanigans. What could be better than waking up on the lake, grabbing a beer from the cooler and then walking a few feet into the water? Overall, I totally recommend the Havasu «resort» portion cause I always come back every year and make more memories that I can’t remember.

Came here not knowing what to expect from this little casino. I give it 4 stars because I left with more money then I went with… The place is just very small. Although, I would definitely come back! :)

1. I hate smoking in public areas (yes, I’m a spoiled California girl)
2. The only reason I am writing this post is because of the lunch I had. The Sweet & Spicy Chicken sandwich was absolutely delightful. A complete hidden gem. There was a full, cooked green chile and a juicy slice of pineapple with perfectly melted swiss cheese. Delicious!
3. The $ 2 ferry from London Bridge is pretty cool

I’ve been coming here for 20 years and in that time Havasu Landing has let their campsite go. Everything is old and run down. There’s not much they need to provide; clean bathrooms and a picnic table. Our table was so old and weather beaten, everytime I touched it, I got splinters. The next nearest table was cracked cement with rusty rebar sticking out. Neither are usable!
Bathrooms are gross. Period.
Havasu is fun, but there are limited places gor camping. For as much as Havasu Landing charges to stay here, they should make it a more comfortable stay.

Ok people. this place is fun. This casino/​bar is where the locals hang out. We visited the bar area the evening of July 5. We had so much fun, we returned the next night. The music was great and the drinks were strong. There were a lot of interesting characters in the bar, but so what.
My 20 year olds enjoyed the blackjack tables, music and the local atmosphere as well.
Husband and I stayed at the bar drinking, socializing with the locals and dancing til closing. We never made it to the gaming areas.
Boat ride there was clean, well maintained and staff was personable. Deck from boat to casino was spotless. Security in casino was visible, restrooms were clean, bartender was BUSY, but always composed. DJ and music was awesome.

If you enjoy the type of atmosphere you’d find at a dive bar you will probably enjoy the Havasu Landing Casino. Go with low expectations, enjoy the ride over on the new Tecopa catamaran walk-​on ferry (leaves on the hour from the London Bridge Village) and spend a few hours on the machines. Get a player’s card and a ticket for free ride next time on the ferry at the players club. It’s a lot bigger than others may have led you to believe. Officially it’s 120,000 square feet. There are about 225 machines.
Smoky yes but there are spots in the casino with fresh air blowing in, you just have to find them. Drinks here are not free per California law. Many «locals» swing over because of the smoke shop. The food is so-​so, it depends on what you order. The mushroom swiss burger is okay; the patty melt is dripping in grease.
The Havasu Landing is an adequate casino in which to spend a few hours.
