Too slow of service. Too small of place. Food is good but not worth the wait. This is now twice in a row. Doubt I will be back

Best pizza I’ve had outside of Italy or New York. And I travel for a living.
We did a BBQ Chicken pizza. It was fresh and delicious. The sauce was unbelievable. I even talked them out of a cup to go. The char on the crust was perfection. Mix of cheese to toppings spot on, and crust perfect thickness as well. Can’t wait to go back!

A very good wood fired pizza. I was staying in Post Falls and decided to give them a chance, glad we did. Limited selection of wine. Good selection of toppings to build your own in addition to their standard pizzas.

An update of a previous review. We went on New Years Eve and continue to be amazed at the service, friendly atmosphere, attention to customers and, of course, the excellent pizza. We sat at the bar and had a birds eye view of the wait staff and pizza production. What a lesson in team work! This is a wonderful spot! Those who venture here keep coming because it is one of those dining experiences that never fail. I almost want to tell people… shhhhhhh! Let’s just keep this our little perfect secret! But I think the secret is getting out!

Friends of ours recently moved to Hauser Lake so we met at Embers for dinner last Friday night before going to see their new house. We had no idea the treat we were in for. We all ordered pizza from the multiple choices on the menu. Wood fired ovens gave us authentically cooked crusts that were delicious. I was surprised to find plentiful cheese without having to ask for extra cheese.
My only complaint was the noise. That is only another sign of a successful restaurant that was crowded. Nonetheless, we were quickly seated and given exceptional service. I might opt for a less busy time to dine, just because I am an old geezer that enjoys quiet. Anxious for my next visit.

More than great pizza and salad. It was a memorable event. Overlooking Hauser Lake there was a place for the kids to play while we enjoyed a crafted beer and a beautiful sunset on the patio. The complaints about the service may reflect the fast food mentality. This restaurant nestled in the trees is for making memories. They even let us bring a birthday cake without an upcharge. At Embers take time to smell the pizza. We will be back again and again.

Great pizza along with the outside ambiance. We ordered 3 pizzas for the 7 of us and shared. Everyone loved the pizza crust. Great wine list. Awesome little jewel in the sticks.

Awesome food! Greek salad is delicious. Rueben Pizza… So differently great.
Gluten free options are equally tasty.
Views of the lake, outdoor seating, and kid friendly play area are all a big plus.
Service was friendly but it took nearly 45 min to get the salads served.
One of our pizzas were missing a topping on both of our visits to this place.
On our second visit, the waitress took way to long to bring the check, and then lost the signed copy, causing even further delay in our departure.

We tried the take out option here as we didn’t have time to stay. We split 3 lg pizzas between 4 adults and and 6 kids and we were more than satisfied. We had the papas combo, the Greek and the classic cheese! Everything was absolutely delicious and we can’t wait to come back so we can enjoy the atmosphere and dining experience! Try this place, you will be glad you did!

This is a hidden gem, if anyone ever told me, one of the best wood fired pizza restaurants was in Hauser ID, would have never believed it. Embers does not disappoint, service is on point and attentive, reasonable pricing, fun, relaxing vibe and pizza that easily stands up to and in most cases surpasses pizza in northern Idaho. Can’t wait to return !!!

My husband and I love this place! We recently brought 8 of our friends to try it after a day at the lake. The place was packed full and super busy. Even though they were slammed they managed to seat us within 20 minutes. Everyone had a great time and loved the food, drinks, and prices. When we left, the hostess went out of her way to say goodbye to us by name. We will continue to bring in more and more people and recommend the place to everyone.

By far one of the best gems we have found in North Idaho! The gourmet pizzas are creative and delicious! The atmosphere is very charming and the service if friendly and attentive. This is a must if you are in the CDA/​Spokane area.

Some time ago we had some family tell us about Embers. Being a guy that loves a good pizza we had to give this place a try. Driving up to the restaurant it feels like you are pulling up to a nice chow hall at camp. This is because it is located next to Hauser Lake and settled in the trees. We came at the perfect time as we were sitting down right at sunset. Once inside we were warmly greeted and quickly seated. We ordered a Papa’s Special which took about 10 minutes from order to table. The rectangular pizza looked very good upon arrival and it tasted as good as it looked. The crust was perfectly cooked and the sauce was a perfect blend of tomato and herbs. It was slightly sweet and smooth not overly tangy. The edge of the crust was also basted with butter that had a very slight garlic taste. It was not overpowering and added a perfect extra touch to the pizza.
Overall this was one of my favorite pizzas in the Spokane region and will be back to give more varieties a try. One we noticed in particular was the Rueben. Interesting idea.

Food was decent. Nothing to write home (or Unilocal) about,. But the service was HORRIBLE. From the time we were seated we were ignored. We had to go get our waitress everything so we could order and for additional drinks. The worst service I’ve had in years.

Great Pizza and a very nice atmosphere. The service and friendly staff were excellent and made you feel right at home.

Spectacular. Gourmet pizza beyond amazing. Great atmosphere. Good service. Extremely reasonable prices. Good selection of beers to wash down the yummy meal. Free wifi too!

I wish there were more stars! This place was awesome, from the outside patio over looking the lake, beautifully lit with bistro lights to the handmade amazing rustic pizzas. My salad was perfect, service was great and the atmosphere was so so fun… and to top it off for dessert you can roast your own marshmallows for your smores at the camp fire. Prices are extremly reasonable. Can’t wait to go back!!!
